One of the best fish and chips takeaway in ware . Could do with a couple of vegetation options.

Unfortunately I got severe food poisoning from scampi that wasn’t cooked properly. I didn’t notice until halfway through eating it. 100% sure it was from this place and just leaving a review because I don’t want it to happen to others.

We have been using this takeaway for years because the fish is always of good quality. The chips are OK and the service is usually swift and polite. One recurring downside is that they only take cash and no credit cards. We've all become so used to using cards for every small purchase since the pandemic, it would be helpful if they accepted them.

Nice fish and chips. Decent size of fish and chips made from good tasting potatoes. If it's raining, you may have to wait in the rain outside the shop. Friendly staff.

Freshly cooked fish and chips. Not greasy at all. Crunchy batter and the senior portions are great value

Been using for the last couple of months, and not had a problem. Friendly staff. Good food at a good price. Best chips i have had from any chippy in Ware. I would recommend others to give them a fry, i mean try .

I was very disappointed. Taste was awful, oil had been used too many times. The guy serving needs to improve on his customer service skills too! Overpriced & bad quality food.

This is a really decent, classic fish and chips. The locals all seem to love it and have been visiting for years. You can only collect but we've been here several times and it's always been constantly good. They alternate the battered fish available and they also sells scraps for those of us who like the old school ways. Usually a 5 minutes queue here out the door at peak time. Good value for money as we usually get a large chips, medium cod, two saveloys and a battered sausage for ÂŁ10.95. Would recommend this for a classic fish and chips.

Takeaway fish and chips. ÂŁ4.50 deal at lunchtime for seniors. They always tell you the name of the trawlers from whom they bought the fish and the variety of potatoes that go into their chips. Changed hands fairly recently and priced have risen z bit. Quality pretty good most times we have visited. Recommended.
