From China Barnet in East Hertfordshire

Tried for the first time, friendly staff, good food, reasonable prices.

Spring roll undercooked/soft. Rest of food so underwhelming and tasteless. Rang them after, no ‘sorry’, just defended their position. The spring rolls are cooked in special oil (oil does not need to be heated I guess), and the squid is meant to be chewy (news to me). The muscles could not have been cold. On the plus side, the prawn crackers were nice. Most went in the bin.

Ordered using just eat app easy and once order placed arrived at time requested and food was tasty and hot and reasonably priced

the food is nice and cheap but the delivery driver the old guy is very rude banging loud at the main door like some old bill waking up people who got work in the morning he could of buzzed or called me to come down i tell him off and he wants to argue and swear at me in iranian like i dont have iranian wont order from here again

Nice lady who answered the phone and served me at the counter. Nice fresh food everybody enjoyed their meals. I would recommend this place

Had our first takeaway fromm "From China" in Barnet last night. Best Cinese i have had for ages. Tasty, fresh, hot and on time. Nothing was greasy. Will be ordering from there again.

I have ordered from here many times and have never before had a problem. I was sadly extremely disappointed with my meal as not only was the food clearly microwaved by the amount of time it took for my order to be ready as it was worryingly quick to be sent out but it also tasted microwaved (very rubbery). Not only was the taste bad, but myself and everyone else who had the food were up all night with suspected food poisoning (I won't go into details of the exact issues we were having as no one wants to hear that which is why I'll leave it at food poisoning!) It was awful. I have often recommended From China to people and have left positive reviews as they were my favourite Chinese in Barnet, but I can honestly say based off of my experience last night I don't think I'd ever order from them again.

We’ve been using From China for five years. The food is consistently excellent, telephone booking is friendly and efficient and delivery is nearly always earlier than suggested. Tried a few others in Barnet this is leaps and bounds above the rest. Having seen some really sour reviews I can only assume they are from competition or serial haters

Great Chinese restaurant that has been run by the same people for years. The same woman I used to by chips from at lunchtime at school is still there and quality is still excellent. In over 10 years I've never had any problems or known anyone personally who have! Tasty and very large portions.
