Hertford Coffee Lab in East Hertfordshire

A great coffee shop to visit... Coffee is perfect..so are the cakes and pastries 👍👍 . Staff are always welcoming... A nice relaxed atmosphere.

My go-to for admin. Chai oat latte is banging. Always good cakes. Always served with a smile. Best cafe in Hertford by a long way. Just needs a vegan bagel option pretty please 😉

Not a good experience I'm afraid. The coffee was terrible, the place extremely dirty and the staff had no regards for customers . One lady was crashing the plates around, it was so loud we couldn't hear each other speaking. Then out came a lady with. Mop and bucket bashing it around very loudly . Not a very relaxing lunch . I feel I wasted my money going there , I will not be returning.

Great coffee, great service, interesting selection of pastries and snacks that’s well beyond the competition. The Cinnabuns are the perfect naughty breakfast.They saved me with a beautiful flat white after getting some terrible coffee at Bebo next door.

Good little local coffee shop with delicious looking bakery. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Good covid secure measures with tables distanced and door open for ventilation. Place does not allow for laptops which keeps seats free.

Definitely the best coffee joint in Hertford, dare I say in Hertfordshire? Really good vibes, good coffee and coffee beans to buy. Definitely recommend.

Popular coffee spot in the heart of town. Naming yourself a "coffee lab" comes with a certain expectation that the quality of coffee will be exceptional, and this place delivers. There seems to be on-premises roasting and grinding, plus the baristas know what they're doing. Seating is plentiful but was still almost fully occupied during a weekday mid-morning visit.

Had high hopes for this place, and partly delivered with a little bit of disappointment. The space inside is very small so be prepared to sit tight, and the stools in the middle are not exactly the most comfortable during busy periods. The food is pretty much anything you can get at Costa and Starbucks, but the coffee was the main attraction which was somewhat refreshing and somewhat similar to drowning coffee beans in water and serving. This place has to be a acquired taste, so if your used to Starbucks and Costa, give this a pass!
