Lussmanns - Hertford in East Hertfordshire

Visited the new site today, had an excellent time as did my friend. Food and service were stellar congrats to you all

The food was very yummy!! Cocktails were amazing and service was brilliant, didnt get the waitresses name, wish I did. Can't fault anything.

The food was excellent! We will come back!The steak and frites were good, it's one of their signature dishes, they have had this dish for ages. They perfected it such that they offer it in the kids menu and the kids love it.🤩

Bit pricey for what it is. Service excellent but just felt food was no better than OK for the price. Wine too was nice but at the upper end of what I would consider acceptable. Noisy, too. Was hoping for a slightly more relaxing environment. Sorry I can't give a higher score as nothing majorly wrong, but genuinely don't think I can award higher.

Great service and great steak and chips. Recommend the mad squirrel hells larger.

The food was wonderful, so very tasty, although the portion sizes could have been a little larger for the price and because it was so delicious. I had the halibut rarebit and the orange and bitter orange creme brulée, both highly recommended. Staff were lovely too!

Fabulous restaurant, one of my most favourite in Hertford. Lovely decor, great staff and really good quality food. Their lunch menu at £16.50 is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and it's worth it!! Thomas is a wonderful host, always very friendly and takes really good care of you when dining here, an all round great dining experience!!

Possibly the best waiting staff ever. Over-worked but in post-brexit times it's difficult to get extra staff. She was a delight and rewarded so on the tip. Unique menu with some particularly interesting dishes, I opted for the cod cheeks which although I would order again, might ask chef to go easy on the oil. All my companions chose different dishes and we had tastes of each one. Puddings also a delight and whilst I'd recommend coming back, this is in fact my third visit!

Absolutely amazing, classy, elegant restaurant.Made a large booking with them for 25 people, they were very accomodating and so helpful in planning our event.All our guests were very pleased!We'll definitely return.

Meat good. Sun hot. Warm in window. Food delightful. Much recommend.
