New Mexico in East Hertfordshire

Really wanted Mexican one evening so tried this restaurant out. The food was expensive and not even tasty. We ordered a vegetarian fajita which didn’t taste fresh at all. Ordered a vegetarian enchilada and again it tasted quite bland. Rice didn’t come with it so ordered it on the side and it was dry. I think the thing that put me off the most was the salsa. It came out some cheap jar or something.. really not nice

As usual the food was great, but the waitressing staff were very unattentive this evening took about an hour between finishing the main course and getting our dessert (cheesecake).Could barely talk with each other as there were several large groups of excessively noisy guys dining in.

Loved the food decor and staff. Food was out quickly and we where served very fast so no complaints to be had

Friendly service, large portions and at a decent price.We enjoyed 3 courses when we visited, loved the enchiladas. I found that the service was good and we waited the perfect time between ordering and food arriving - it was midweek so wasn't too busy.The menu in the restaurant is more extensive than the one online.Toilets were clean.Card (amex) is accepted.Service charge/tip isn't automatically added.

The food was brilliant. Full of flavour and the staff were so friendly. Would go again for sure.

Avoid at all cost. The food was really awful. We were forced to order 2 main course even though we dint want to as they said its company policy. The food was just microwaved as the plate was hot. The food being disgusting as it was super smelly. I dint eat a thing and was charged so high for the food. Do not visit this place

We decided to organize a work leave do in New Mexico restaurant. I really enjoyed cheezy chicken nachos and a sea bass. Staff was very kind, they re-made a starter for a party member who arrived late. It was fun to watch the bartender juggle and throw things. Also there was karaoke. Not sure if they do it every night or just Saturday. Will visit again 😀

My wife and I looked for a local Mexican dinner for a Saturday night, and we found this lovely place. Even though we hadn't reserved in advance and the restaurant was fully booked, they were so kind to accept us. We ordered Fajitas, nachos and prawns in garlic sauce. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. I tried a lot of nachos in different places, but this one was the best so far. The staff and the owner was friendly as well. Unfortunately, my wife forgot her bag at the restaurant when we left, with all the cards driving license, and she didn't even realise it afterwards. In the night, we had the door knocked and were surprised to see the owner at the door with the bag! He was so kind to bring it to our place! Thank you so much for everything, we will be back again!

The atmosphere was electric when I arrived. There were no tables left, but I was still approached by the owner, who reassured me and did everything he could to get me seated.The service from all the team was spot on. It was as though I was the only guest, despite them having a full house. That is how efficient they are.The food is top 👌 quality. The waiting time amazing.I would want to visit that village just to eat here again.For travellers using Stansted Airport, this is a perfect place to eat.

Friendly staff , amazing food , an all round good night, definitely will be going back again. These are only some starters the main meals were much larger and was very filling..
