Pizza Express in East Hertfordshire

The food was tasty, service was quick, efficient and polite. The food came quickly despite being busy. We will return, thanks.

A visit to the Hertford Pizza Express never disappoints; I only came last Thursday and I'm already itching to get back! The food is excellent, the service is stellar and the restaurant is always spotless. P.E in Hertford is my favourite place to go for food, and has been particularly during the recent Covid times. Dan, Kevin and the rest of the team have done an outstanding job at making the restaurant feel Covid-safe. I look forward to my next visit!

Great restaurant visit regular. The staff are always chirpy and efficient nothing is too much trouble and spend time talking to the kids aswell as the grownups

Really enjoyed our evening there, good atmosphere and friendly service. Now do vegan cheese so perfect for all tastes.

Staff were good, location is very good but unfortunately the food was just ok. My pizza was oily and my mini carrot cake was stale - such a shame. I just wanted to update my review as the manager responded very quickly to see what he could do to make the situation better - very much appreciated.

The food and drinks were really nice but the service wasn't great. The waiter we had gave off the impression that he either disliked us or didn't want to be there. The music was also much too loud.

Arrived without booking, excellent service from a northern lass. We had a set menu, lovely food 1 pizza was missing olives and our waitress sorted out a pot of olives within seconds. We also requested extra basil leaves which came in seconds.Great atmosphere and decor.

On arrival the restaurant looks well situated on the high street and has a open planning seating space. We were told to sit at a table closer to the kitchen as there was a shortage of staff, but even with being close we waited 10 min before someone came to take the order. We had to ask a passing buy waiter to request someone come take our order. When the food arrived it looked less that what we had expected from a well reputable chain. The pizza seemed burnt and the food seemed to have been waiting for a while as it was cold. Overall not the best experience here. I would not suggest this be a place to take someone for a special meal or evening!
