Prezzo - Bishops Stortford in East Hertfordshire

I went for a dinner with my friend, the waitress that we had was lovely. Couldn’t recommend her more. Once my food had arrived I had noticed that part of my food was cold and parts were boiling hot. My previous experience at Prezzo‘s I had the same issue however decided to ignore. The lady on the table nearby also mentioned how her food tasted the same hot and freezing. This was obviously microwaved and dangerous as it included meat and seafood. Bart the man that took our food away and brought us our bill, was extremely arrogant and had a stinking attitude. Overall my experience was poor shame as the waitress and waiters seemed lovely. Definitely will not be returning.

Unfriendly staff, we weren't greeted with a hello or even acknowledged actually, another customer actually offered to help with the doors and my pram while the staff looked on. Wouldn't allow me to order a child's ice cream because I hadn't ordered a child's meal. We had shared a meal because she is 1!! Food was average and we won't be going back

Booked a week in advance for lunch with my two grandchildren. On arrival a surly waitress told us what wasn’t on the menu. No hello. Turned and walked off to show us to our table in the mini extension which was poorly decorated and devoid of any atmosphere whatsoever whilst tables in the main area were empty, so thanks for that.Waitress who took our order pulled a face and sighed when one on the children changed her mind after the order had been put into the gadget. Shock horror. Had to get up to get menus from a passing waitress. Had to get up and find a waitress to get our bill. Ice cream dessert was plonked on the table in a sealed wax carton with a wooden spoon, as if on the seafront.Food nothing special. I did not leave a tip which is something I’ve never done before.Will never ever go back. If there was a minus star option that’s where I would be.

Nice Prezzo, friendly staff and smart panelled room which makes a change. Bit why so short of veg options? Obvs you can make your own pizza up but that tends to be expensive and why shouldn't vegetarians get some decent pizza combinations too? Far too much mascarpone, mozzarella and burrata and no vegan options at all. Wake up guys and make veg people feel welcome.

Friendly servers and food was great. Sat for awhile waiting for the bill even though it wasn't busy. The honeycomb cheesecake was delicious!

The starters were ok but the spaghetti with prawns was basically overcooked spaghetti, a can of chopped tomatoes with bad quality prawns and without any seasoning what so ever. It's like if it was cooked by someone without any experience cooking food. You just don't serve that in a restaurant.

A pleasant experience but a few faults. I’ve been to many a Prezzo in my life and this one is lacking slightly in the following categories.We ordered calzone and it was a little under seasoned. The side salad had lettuce which was noticeably brown on the edges. Something that I wouldn’t eat at home, let alone in a restaurant. I told the waiter but I doubt he relayed this to the kitchen staff. Hands down it shouldn’t have left the kitchen, let alone be there.Walking around with my young baby I noticed lots of cobwebs on the light fittings. Being fussy? That’s what reviews are about right.Staff were friendly, left a tip.But come on, even the local kebab place has fresh lettuce!
