Saracens Head in East Hertfordshire

Went for pub quiz night. Nice pub food and evening went well. Decent service all round and quiz was good.

Very nice place. We was there for a after funeral gathering (downstairs) & the food laid on was very commendable. I drank I P.A. & it was very good!!

Limited options for vegetarians, but nice for a drink - especially on a sunny day.

A nice location by the river. The decor is nice and the staff are friendly. We'll priced food and drink too. They have a pizza over, I recommend the garlic bread and pizza if your hungry!

Nice little outdoor area. Heaters work really well. Been here a few times but never indoors. Nice pub. Nice food!

Such a lovely oub by the river. Food was delicious and cocktails are really nice. Great athmopshere. The only thing that annoyed me a bit was the service. I had to constantly remind the waiters/waitresses about our orders. They could be a bit more attentive than just chatting with each other behind the bar.

Lovely quirky pub/restaurant right alongside the river. First visit to Ware and with the sun shining on a beautiful Sunday afternoon just had to sit outside watching the swans glide by. Add in a pint of Riverside pilsner and an haloumi wrap with fries - absolute bliss. Oh, and also pleasantly surprised with the bill. 👍

Lovely walk along the canal from Amwell to Ware, a drink at The Saracens Head (a very good pint of Guiness to be had here) then you can walk further along the canal as far as you like. Nice setting for a drink or lunch. Very efficient and friendly staff. Wonderful chips too, served with sea salt and thyme.

Beautiful river/canal to oversee by the bridge at the outdoor seating. Inside is nice too.Nice selection of drinks and food too. Nice place to bring your partner.Friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
