Meal with friends, food was good and staff pleasant, would I go again that's a YES from me.

Lovely pub. Food looked amazing. Sadly, we'd eaten, but will be back to sample the food.

Went here for lunch today. All four of us had different meals and all of us were blown away by the quality and taste of our meals. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Fabulous food, attentive service without being overbearing. Very friendly, we will definitely be returning. A real hidden gem.

As far as restaurants/pubs go, it's got everything you might want. Good selection of beers as well as good quality food, my only slight problem is the menu is not very big nor varied but what is served is very good.

Always have a good lunch at The Beehive. The battered skate is delicious. The home made pies are equally good.......

Sweet little pub with a great outdoor area and a nice food selection. I had a lovely veggie pie and my partner had the halloumi burger which was delish. Our food had been slightly delayed but the staff were very apologetic and rectified it with a free drink on the house for each of us. The older lady that helped us at the bar was super lovely.

Had a Thai chicken curry which was actually delicious although we waited a little longer than hoped. We later found out, they hadn't gone to find the nearest Tesco t9 buy one, but had indeed prepared our dishes from scratch. The atmosphere was indeed as traditional as you might expect from a historical public house, with its low ceilings and fire. Staff were extremely polite and friendly. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because the heating didn't work and the fire wasn't on to compensate. And the few electric radiators (one of which i almost cuddled during the entire time) was not adequate enough to heat the entire cottage. Having said that it was freezing outside and I feel the cold more than some others. Plenty of outside seating for the summer and parking too.
