I went for Mother's Day dinner with my sons. Meal was certainly nice. Crisp roast potatoes, at least 6 different veg and the lamb was perfect. Would recommend. Thank you Cowper Arms

I have to say the food was nice and so were the people. Unfortunatly what spoilt it was how LONG it took. They weren't even completly full. Our mains took atleast 30 to 40 minutes and so did two childrens chocolate brownies. It is such a shame as otherwise we would have loved it.

Mother's day Sunday roast. Nice food good portions, just slightly expensive for a pub Roast. £95 for 3 adults and a child. Can't fault the food though.

We went for the Sunday roast with all the reviews being so glowing, but we’re disappointed with what we paid for. Some nice bits to the roast but mostly underwhelming with chicken that was incredibly dry.

Ten of us travelled from Canterbury to meet our parents/grandparents for midday Saturday lunch. It was a great success. We had been allocated an ideal table, and the staff were efficient and pleasant throughout. The menu is varied and wide - there really is something for everyone - and we were given straightforward, knowledgeable help choosing for the coeliac amongst us. I noted how clean everything is when our young baby happily crawled around under the table. This was a very pleasant occasion for us all.

Handily positioned next to Welwyn North station. Superb pint of McMullens beer. Didn't eat there but the food looked pretty good. Seemed very popular, especially in the early evening. Spacious. Excellent staff and wouldn't hesitate to call again

We love the food here .There is a group of us meet monthly, and we usually have lunch here. Its nice pub grub .Fish and chips delicious, soup was really tasty.Good choice of vegetarian dishes, and a tapas selection. And good coffee

I loved that there was a vegan and vegetarian menu and the sentiment behind it (written on their website) - basically, try something yummy. I liked that it wasn't fake meat heavy too!We ordered the tapas deal and a burger, which was frankly too much food for two people, but it was delicious and a special occasion.I really liked how well spaced the garden was and there was a nice atmosphere throughout.I'd recommend it here.

Sunday roast was fantastic. My wife had the Nut-roast which she said was very nice. She also ordered cauliflower and cheese extra. This was a large portion that was big enough for two.I had the mixed roast which was a very big portion with an enough Yorkshire pudding on.The food comes with a plate of vegetables. The food was extremely nice and plenty of it.Good friendly service with staff coming around to make sure everything was ok.Attentive good service. Nothing to complain about. Overall good experience.
