We had our wedding here in June and cannot fault it! From the planning/organisation down to the very last detail was exceptional! The pub owners and staff really went above and beyond for us and made our wedding day absolutely amazing and unforgettable! We didn't want the night to end.The food was flawless! Positive comments all round and all our guests still speak of it to this day. The hospitality was extremely welcoming and attentive, always there to help and serve.Thank you Bianca and to your wonderful team for all your help and making our wedding day so so so special!Can't wait to visit for a lovely lunch xxx

We came for our wedding anniversary. Really delicious and fresh food. Spotlessly clean. Nice vibe. However we were quite offended by the poster in the mens toilets. It was blasphemous and crude and unnecessary. And not even particularly amusing.We mentioned this in a courteous manner at the end but there was no apology. If it was blasphemous to the Muslim faith it would be taken down in a trice. It marred an otherwise wonderful time. Many thanks

Great food, really enjoyed the squid and chermoula sauce. It's not necessarily traditional pub fare but the food is excellent and fresh - not a burger and deep fried scampi in sight! Lovely pub garden and dog friendly.

Lack of friendly service (they both seemed rather miserable), and wait time was slightly disappointing along with the black hairs in my smoked salmon. Although extremely tiny - did not manage to put me off - and otherwise enjoyed this starter very much.A friendlier, happier front of house would have made this a better review.

My partner and myself had an amazing meal here last Friday, she went with the lobster and I had a fantastic rib eye steak, very well cooked and tasted amazing, fantastic service from the waitresses and food was quick coming out. Would definitely return.

A very cosy pub serving superb food. Our group of four shared the lamb shoulder and it was exquisite. The dauphinoise potatoes were also divine. Puddings were good too. Not cheap but worth the money for a treat. There's a nice little farm shop with bits to buy too. Highly recommended.

Nice pub, but limited menu on a Sunday and the roast beef was more a case of quantity over quality. Unfortunately our allotted table was in a very noisy separate room which would've been great for a private function, but not when there are mixed groups. Clearly a group of three isn't going to want to be seated next to a table of 8 or 10. We were able to move tables, but one member of staff clearly thought we were just being fussy. The lady who served us in the main room was much more professional though.

I booked Sunday lunch here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and whilst the experience was - as Sunday lunches in decent village pubs go - very nice, I think I had perhaps overestimated how fancy the occasion would be, based mostly on the abundance of ‘Michelin’ based wording on the website.The pub itself was fine and the food was great, if a little unimaginative for the level it claims to be - very limited choice for vegetarians. The service was ok - staff, whilst very pleasant, seemed generally a little uninformed about the menu and certainly didn’t seem particularly encouraged to bring anything extra to our experience which was unfortunate as we arrived in a mindset to spend a bit extra as it was a special occasion.My overall summation would be - delicious food and the set menu price is very reasonable. Worth a go if you are nearby but, as it stands, it’s not going to blow your mind.

Wonderful service, exquisite taste and quality. Was invited to a good friend's wedding and everything was flawless!
