Very tasty Sunday lunch roast beef followed by sticky toffee pudding cheesecake, all very delicious

Poor poor service today. I’ve a feeling they were vastly under staffed as we arrive on time but 1 hour 20 mins later our food still hadn’t been served. Did they misplace our order? Maybe! We’re they just rushed off their feet? Probably! Did the guy who seemed to be in charge apologise? Nope!They did however agree to not charge us for our food (which was average by the way). Even when I paid, there was no apology. One of the waitresses did say sorry to be fair. It seems to me that there was not enough staff on for the amount of people eating there. So all it needed was an explanation at the very beginning! Shame because it was a family meal out as I will not be seeing my son and grandchildren over Xmas!

Fabulous meal tonight. Lovely staff. We were able to walk here as live in the village but there is nearby parking. Highly recommended

Lovely pub Had there roast was very very nice I had the roast pork one of the best roast dinners I’ve had out the only let down there was 9 of us and we waited 1 & half hours for our dinner witch was far to long considering we didn’t have starters other than that I’d recommend this pub food was very good

Cracking Pub! Here for a Wedding but will definitely be back for a general visit for food and drink. Beautifully situated, large Garden with kids play area and a huge marquee with comfortable seating.Food was absolutely delicious! I had prosciutto wrapped chicken in a sundried tomato cream sauce with potatoes and it was outstanding.Staff were very friendly and welcoming - nothing too much trouble .Really enjoyed our visit and will be returning for sure!

Amazing food. Best coleslaw in the world/ universe. Worth being locked up for a year by Boris just to experience this coleslaw. Jokes aside, great staff. Amazing food. No pics cos I ate it too fast.

Great fillet steak!! So tasty and flavoursome. Service good, a little understaffed, but this was due to customers all turning up together. Would fully reccomend. Lovely clean pub, great atmosphere. Looking forward to returning.

Super good food, all very fresh! There is also the biggest fireplace I've ever seen (apart from that in a castle). Would definitely recommend !

Friendly pub in beautiful location. Excellent food but not cheap. You do get what you pay for though.
