The Horns Public House in East Hertfordshire

Really lovely pub in a gorgeous area. Food was shocking though. £18 for a Sunday lunch that just resembled a plate of mush and so much fat on the beef & no proper vegetables either! I've honestly never seen a plate of food like it.I'd definitely go back for a drink but no way would I eat there again.

Pub dates from 1561, really good atmosphere, haunted! Great burgers, very reasonable price in a lovely eating area! Usually space in the carpark.

This pub has a very nice atmosphere and is has a pleasant feel. The food however, is just very average pub food, and I feel the quality of the food needs work.

The Horns is a super pub; the food is wonderful and it has a great vibe. Whether sitting outside or enjoying Sunday lunch inside it’s always a real treat. Bon appetite.

Nice food. Shame about the resident dog wandering around whilst you eat. It is a country pub though and most people love dogs. Unfortunately I do not.

Country pub with real ale and food. Covid restrictions apply. Friendly staff. Outdoor tent for extra seating has been provided. Reduced menu due to the current situation which is changed regularly. Social distancing is maintained and hand cleanser provided.

This place could be nice. The decor inside is lovely and it looks nice from the road. The girls serving at the bar were nice.The problem both my friend and I agreed on was that the food seemed to be frozen food..nothing tasted fresh at all. The other issue was the young girl who brought our food out - didn't seem to care much about how to do it nicely and didn't put the plates down carefully, so it felt like she just threw the plates down and went off. We were both a bit surprised at how she acted. The visit was a bit of a disappointment and we would not go back for the food...they should relaunch the menu with fresh ingredients and cook everything to order.. We'd come back for that.
