Went for a midweek drink. What a lovely place. Beautiful arty colourful decor. Menu looked good (steak, chicken, risotto)and not overly pricey, bottomless lunch for £49! So I will be back. Service impeccable.

Mothers day lunch was really lovely. Nice additional side dishes. We had a roast pork loin and chicken supreme. Duck breast and salmon gravalax starter and sticky fig and toffee pudding with extra sauce which was heavenly! Excellent service and a pianist/singer in the background 👏

Sunday lunch here was excellent. Food plentiful and tasty - I had the loin of pork! Desserts were just as good - but asides the excellent attentive service - the highlight were the excellent tendered cocktails and great value Cab Sauv from California.

We went to the Hummingbird after our registry office wedding in Hertford and we could not have asked for a better place to celebrate with our witnesses and son! We ate at the big table in the middle which felt so special and were greeted with a glass of prosecco on the house, which was so lovely! The food was gorgeous, especially the dessert, we had the banoffee pie, it was to die for! Highly recommend this place for any occasion!

Went here last night to celebrate my brothers birthday. . Absolutely shocking.Considering we had children with us for a private party we didnt receive our food til gone 9.30 , then everyone had received there meals apart from my daughter , while everyone had food my daughter didnt , when I questioned what had happened then girl just stood there. So my daughter ending up sharing with a adult , eventually when my daughters food come it was over cook and couldnt eat it.. extremely disappointing especially as I paid so much ..

We visited this place on the recommendation of our daughter who visited it the week earlier and said how exceptional it was for Sunday lunch. Upon entering, the place is stunning inside and the service from the door to the table was impeccable, however the reason for the two stars is quite simply the food. Firstly even if there were no problems with the food I would still be disappointed by the price as the the amount given is is not really acceptable for a Sunday roast. Three roast potatoes and half a carrot with no trimmings is unacceptable. The trimmings you have to order separately at the cost of £4.50 which really bumps the price of your roast up to ridiculous amounts. The second issue though was the quality. I decided to go for the beef given the level of restaurant I felt like I was in as I could only imagine the quality that would come, however what came were two very thin slices of over cooked beef that gave it the quality of sliced meat of the fresh counter from Morrisons and heated in the microwave. If I can cook better at home why am I paying £25 for a roast dinner in a restaurant? The side order of parsnips came and were completely raw. My daughter said the previous week they were completely different and soft and crispy and fluffy so we sent them back in the hope that we would get the same but when they returned they had been fried so they were very hot and crispy on the outside but as I tested them before allowing them to be left, they were still of course raw inside so I asked for them to be removed from the bill. The carrots on the plate were the same so all in all I couldn't ever justify paying that again for that kind of quality I would honestly get better from Toby Carvery. Granted the presentation is very different and if the quality is up to scratch that's fine but it seems here the quality is sacrificed over presentation and for this reason I could never recommend it or go back and my daughter was of the same opinion and regretted her 5-star review that she'd done that morning. Very disappointing.

I went to this lovely gastro pub with my wife for lunch. We were welcomed by a gentleman with a funky moustache. The interior design and decorations (got lots of nice cherry blossoms) are really cool, they give a warm vibe. They serve a fancy burger, my wife said it’s great. I had linguine, it’s also really tasty. Don’t hesitate to go there again.

Want to give 4.5 stars. Lots of staff maybe too many as was standing there the whole time. Starter was excellent. Roast was okay but knocking off half a star as chicken was dry and was overcharged initially by £50 until we pointed it out. The waitress didn't apologise and sent someone else with correct bill.Saying all that it's nicely decorated the staff in the whole were very friendly and food was very nicely presented.

Excellently cocktails and delicious food. Service was brilliant too! Just need to remember to make a booking in advance to avoid disappointment!!
