The Orange Tree in East Hertfordshire

A lovely place to visit for a drink or a meal. The staff was lovely, very helpful and attentive.The food was amazing, could not fault anything with our evening. We ordered off the main menu and the specials (That are listed next to the bar)100% will be going back and bringing friends with us.

Proper little gem tucked away on a country road in Sawbridgeworth. I loved the decor. Smart & stylish. Impeccable service and of course, the main event, delicious well cooked food. I had the prawn and squid starter and Seabass as a main. The menu was superb, although due to be changed.I shall definitely be returning!

We had tasted their takeaway Sunday lunch during the pandemic and were really impressed so decided to visit in person. So glad we did as the food was again fantastic. There was brilliant menu to choose from and everything we had were delicious. Reasonably priced drinks menu. Great service..we will return.

Visited for my birthday and could not say enough good things. Excellent food and great value for money. Staff were friendly and really looked after us. Really good experience.

My family and I often have birthday meals at The Ornage Tree and the food is always amazing. They cater really well for gluten free diets as well which is fantastic. The staff are lovely and can't do enough to help.Highly recommend.

Haven't been here for years, in fact I wasn't looking forward to it because my last visit was so awful, but there has been a change of ownership and that has been for the better. My meal was inventive and so tasty, good value too. Staff were friendly and it looked clean and well maintained. Great place to lunch.

I mean I shouldn’t write this as you will always be fully booked :-)However it does deserve a mention. First of all my compliments to the chefs, my roast was hands down the best roast I’ve ever had dining out, I will no longer go anywhere else.We have been many times before for other items on the menu and never once have we disappointed.Service was also spot on, lovely and clean as wellYou all deserve the 5 stars ⭐️

Went here for my birthday last week. We arrived to find a birthday card signed by the staff which was a lovely surprise. The food was phenomenal! I would say the camembert starter is more of a sharer but if you love cheese, then definitely give it a go!

A group of 5 of us had a birthday celebration on 14 January and had a fantastic time.From the birthday card on the table, the fantastic food, great service through to the Happy Birthday dessert we were really impressed.It's the first time we've been here but we'll definitely be returning.

What a fantastic experience! Amazing food, staff were lovely and the pub is cozy. Authentic pub run by amazing people. Will 100% travel the hour it took from London for another visit.
