Food was tasteless. Thought at first great value for money until you eat it. The soy sauce was definitely not soy sauce same as the bbq sauce. Dissapointed.

Brianna was amazing at serving us drinks, but Megan the manager was absolutely horrendous, we complained at the smell of vomit, she said OK ill look into it.Nothing was done about it. This is absolutely disgraceful, when someone complains you need to take it seriously, especially about the smell of the workplace place environment

It's a weather spoons cheap beer cheap food . Nice beer food basic but good. Plenty of tables. Good for a cheap night out 👍

Worst wetherspoons ever. Took over an hour to make a panini, tge food order was served in dribs and drabs and most of it was wrong . All in all we won't be returning anytime soon

Food was lovely. Had the bacon and egg muffin. The hashbrowns are really good! Wasn't too keen on the espresso but overall would eat here again.

Ordered a ham and mushroom pizza that should come with Rocket and got a shock look when I said where’s the Rocket. Happens all the time in here. If it’s on the menu it should be on there. Pizza was taken back for a mere sprinkling of rocket. Come on it not like it’s expensive stuff. If it’s part of the pizza then it should come with it. Not like it wasn’t in stock.

Really good selection of lagers, ales and craft beers on tap, with plenty of choices in bottles as well. As ever at wetherspoons very cheap prices, you ca not complain when some the beers on tap are only 2 quid.

Wetherspoons can be a bit hit and miss usually because of the locals rather than the building and staff. This is one of the better ones.It's right in the centre of the very historic Hertford town which has a better than usual population.The building is the old Hertford Working Men's Unionist Club dating back to the very early 1900s and as usual Wetherspoons have tastefully repurposed the building. It has an open courtyard area to the back with some covered area for the Coughing Nail Club members (smokers) when it's raining 😁The food is top notch as usual and excellent value as are the drinks. I dont drink so take advantage of the 99p unlimited hot drinks, all day long, option.My tips and tricks are.1. Parking before 6pm is not easy near the pub but I go to the Sainsbury's superstore car park at Hartham Ln, Hertford SG14 1RD. As you drive in a matrix board flashes up your number plate and time of entry. You have up to 3 hours parking with the price rising to £2.50 for the 3 hours. If you spend over a certain amount in the shop you get a voucher and your parking is free. The pay machines are in the entry lobby.I set a 2hr 40 minute reminder on my phone to be safe but the pub us only a 5 minute walk.With the shop entrance on your right you can walk straight up the dead end road to the road you drove in via (theres only one way in and out to drive to the store up to this point) then at the end turn left. At the traffic light junction turn left and cross over and the pub is on your right.Theres another route through the pedestrianised shopping street diagonally opposite to the pub towards the left. Oncevinside the pedestrian bit walk to the first junction which is like a staggered cross roads in the paved street, turn left, walk over the narrow bridge and take the footpath to the left.This takes you alongside the water way from the pond and emerges in the corner of the Sainsburys car park. My suggestion is go out via the road route and venture back through the pedestrianised streets until you know your way about.2. After 6pm various bays and single yellow lines become free but beware of the bay almost opposite and slightly to the left of the pub, it's for taxis only. The bay by the bridge as well as the single yellow line in front of the theatre are fair game.3. If you're having breakfast you can get the 99p coffee option and peruse the menu with your coffee as its not included in the brekky price. However after brekky time which officially ends at 11:30 the main menu kicks in and drinks including the never ending coffees/hot drinks are included in the meal price.4. The pub is popular throughout the day but not rowdy or troublesome but if you want a quiet sit down and chat go upstairs where there are some tables and chairs looking out through the big upstairs windows over the street outside.5. Take time to look across the road at The Green Dragon Hotel opposite and wonder what it must have been like when it was open and in its heyday. A beautiful classic building.I hope this all helps and enjoy your visit.

Great J.D.Wetherspoon's, super beer, cheap prices.

The thing about Wetherspoons is a) it's so reliable and b) it's so reasonable. Had a freshly prepared/cooked pizza for half the price of pizza express and £2 more than a burger from Donald's. Was delicious. Can't argue with that.
