Truly Scrumptious in East Hertfordshire

As always they live up to their name truly scrumptious and truly excellent service, all their staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is just excellent and well worth the money, if you haven't been there yet do yourself a favour and go. I can't praise them enough.

4 of us popped in for a coffee, but we're so impressed by the menu, and the prices, we all finished up having a big breakfast or something similar. We'll be back. Next time I'll try to take pic's before I start eating, Oh and the tea served in a pot was great 👍 👌

Went today. Was very happy. Lovely staff and great menu.

Stopped on cycle from WGC. Lovely bacon sandwich and coffee. Sat in window and able to watch the bike. Lovely service.

We ordered a lunch and 2 desserts at 16h20 on a friday through UberEats; the ETA was 18h, which then changed to 17h50, and later changed again to 18h35. It turns out the food never arrived because the place closed at 16h30. Just unbelievable!! Why did they accept the order in the first place? Very bad service, leaving us starving for something that never arrived.

The food and service was awful, my tasteless excuse of an omelette looked like it had been put under a hydraulic press then served with cold chips and cold beans. Also had to clean the salt pot myself before being able to get anything out of it. However milkshake wasn't bad at all.

I've been here a few times in the past and re visited yesterday.It was very clean, neat and tidy.The staff were polite, friendly and helpful.Fair prices.The menu is big and has some interesting choices. I was torn between the Mediterranean or the American breakfast. I had the American in the end and it was Lush! It was cooked and presented so well, the eggs were perfect, a tiny bit of resistance then the golden yolk just poured out.I also got a box of baklawa to go for my journey up the hill, not that I needed it... Lovely though!It was cash only and the music was a bit loud, coupled with all the background noise from the kitchen, it was a noisy environment. Those are my only complaints.Will definitely go here again.

Bang average cafe with loads of fancy dishes on their huge menu but cant deliver on any of it. The food is painful. On one hand they have eggs Benedict, eggs royal, eggs florentine Mediterranean breakfasts the lot, then commence in bringing you out microwave scrambled eggs, poached eggs rock hard, nothing seasoned everything done in a microwave, mushrooms pale and under cooked. This cafe wants to be upmarket but does nothing right even the basics but they'll throw some garnish on something pulled from the microwave and think that's that. This is a bog standard greasy spoon spread so thin trying to deliver something they cant that its affecting even their most basic set meals

Ordered from Uber eats and 2 hours passed and the delivery kept getting pushed back - when I called and asked about it they told me there was no driver available. I asked if they had a contact number for Uber as the number on their app didn't work and they passed me to 3 different people before hanging up on me! So rude! I called back and they gave me the number for Uber, and then cancelled my order. Never going back there which is a shame cause I used to really like this place.

Found a few hairs in my food, at least 4! It was like they'd brushed their hair over the plate. They didn't seem bothered in the slightest. No offer for a new one and only apologised when I went up and paid the remainder of my bill! Will not be going there again!
