West Street Tavern & Restaurant in East Hertfordshire

The beautiful location and stunning to see was The village Taverna.So warm and friendly all the staff was including the owner who was absolutely lovely.The food was tasty fresh and a fair amount for the price which I found it very reasonable.

I live down in London and I travel here when I want REAL greek food. The atmosphere makes you feel like your in Greece and the owners hospitality makes the experience worth the travel.

Excellent Greek food and vibes! Went with my partner for her birthday and had the mixed platter for two or more and was lovely. If you are in ware I recommend this place.

We came in today for the first time, the food was great and it was just like the food in Cyprus, everything was very tasty, we will come again soon, also the owner was a nice friendly person, very welcoming

Our first time at the Village Taverna and a wonderful experience for my wife and I, great hosting and, even though the place was busy, very attentive service. Both main meals and starters were super tasty. Greek wine was spot on. We will certainly return! Alexander

Had a Great night on Friday. A really cosy, friendly atmosphere with suitable music and just enough room for a dance about !! Extremely smiley efficient staff...¹⁰/¹⁰ all round.

Fabulous food. And the entertainment was second to none. A musician playing music in the tiniest of restaurants, what else creates a fabulous vibe? When they bring shakers and tambourines out so the diners can join in. What fun!

Great evening with friends for our Xmas night out. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Owner particularly kind and and very welcoming 😊 enjoyed the music and instruments that were handed out 😆 would definitely recommend 👌 👍

Fantastic Greek restaurant. The food is excellent, I had the Kleftiko, it was delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The whole place had a great lively vibe.
