White Lion Pub in East Hertfordshire

Visited the White lion public house this afternoon or a drink and a meal. There was a very nice vibe in the pub itself but we chose to eat in the garden this was also very nice. We had 2 ribs, 1 roast beef and one katsu curry. The ribs were the best I've had in a long while. Fantastic food would definitely recommend.

After football beers. They always have a pack of ice for our various injuries at the ready. Lovely garden, football, smiles. Good stuff!

Excellent community pub, dining, good beer and occasional live music

Used this pub as a stop on a charity Tractor Run NYE. Very welcomed and great beer. Can't fault the Guinness

We’ve just moved to Hertford and on a walk exploring the area we came across the White Lion and decided to stop for lunch and what a great decision. The pub is lovely inside, really tastefully done out with a welcoming atmosphere (not like some places ive been in the past when you’re a new face) the staff found us a table for lunch even though we hadn’t booked and looked after us for a very enjoyable few hours. The landlord Adam came over to introduce himself when he heard we were newbies and made us feel very welcome, told us all about the regular calendar of events they put on like the Reggae / Ska night with Jerk Chicken and live band in a few weeks that we’ll definitely be coming back for. We can see us spending many happy times with Adam Karen and his staff at their pub and can’t recommend it highly enough. I haven’t even mentioned the big beer garden! Jonny & Mag

Lovely family local, we need more pubs like this. An old Yorkshire saying "use it or loose it" and use it the locals do. Amazingly friendly place to enjoy the fayre. We'll done the staff.
