Cafe Mio in Epping Forest

Lovely food, friendly staff, thoroughly enjoyed our meal & already planning on going again

Great lunch, quick catch up with friends during lunch break. All good, food and service. Very Busy, lucky to get table.

I had smashed avocado with poached egg on sourdough bread.It was very nice. Service was goodand the toilets were very clean, normally thats a good indication to how hygienic the place is.Will definitely be going back

First time here. Really pleasant little cafè. Had a light lunch, good size portion, not at all expensive. Really enjoyed it, definitely will go back next time i pass through Epping at lunch.

I came to Café Mio for my lunch with my daughter in law. I ordered Bacon with Brie Ciabatta with a side portion of chips and a Hot Chocolate. OMG the Ciabatta was Soo good. The best I have ever had and so nice it came with a side salad. When I finished I was so full as the food was a good portion size. Being a very slow eater it frustrates me when eating out that other peoples plates who I’m dining with are cleared away as they finish eating before I have finished and this in turn makes me feel like I should eat quicker. I was very happy that the waitresses waited until we were both finished before clearing the table. I’d definitely recommend Cafe Mio in Epping as I’ve tried a few cafés here and this one is the best.

The food was great each time going in but me and my boyfriend came in twice and noticed the chef wasn’t wearing a hair net but his hair was back, well both times we went in we got the food fast but I first time found at least four hairs in my full English then the second time we went in my boyfriend found about three hairs in his meal. Food was great and service was outstanding but finding hairs in your food puts you right off.

Fantastic! I have been here a few times on my lunch break and the prices are great, portions are enormous and service is swift. Today I was in a bit of a hurry and asked how long the food would be, and understanding my urgency they got the food out very quickly and even gave me an apple juice for the trouble! The young gentlemen working today were very polite and attentive.

Will not be coming again! Full English come with tinned mushrooms that were cold and they only serve with one slice of toast a typical breakfast would come with 2, and the steak burger was a frozen pre packed beef burger, in my opinion if your going to advertise something as steak it should be steak and it should be garnished not just slapped between a bun dry.They have no flare, the service is slow, the food is bad quality and I know it's a cafe but the chef should take pride in the food regardless, be better or close down.

Visited thus eating place today for the first time, I have to say whst a lovely experience , fantastic food, all freshly cooked & locally sourced. Staff were the best!!!! Really friendly, helpful & nothing too much trouble , will defiantly be going backJean

First time I have visited but will be back very soon one of the best salt beef sandwiches I have had .large menu and everything I saw coming up looked very nice very busy.great service would recommend this place if you are in Epping
