Express Bbq & Fish Bar in Epping Forest

Ordered online, asked person to ring bell on arrival. I've reviewed my CCTV, they didn't! Then took the food back, when I called they said they'd refund, but refund hasn't arrived almost 4 weeks later! Raised fault with PayPal, no response had from these people. Disappointed!

The food was nice but they attempted to double charge us under the influence of alcohol. Obviously the staff thought that we were much more inebriated than we were and attempted to take advantage of us in a vulnerable position.

Never had a bad experience with these guys

Slow slow slow. That twice in a few weeks I've waited more than 20 mins for cod and chips. If I'd ordered skate or scampi or something unusual fair enough but I didn't. They have a painful system where they make sure they fill the person in fronts bag (even if they have ordered 15 different types of dish) before doing the next customers fish and chips. Grrr, wish someone opened up some competition

Polite staff. Good portions of takeaway. Reasonably priced.

For a local takeaway, the kebabs are of a pretty decent quality. Prices aren't too much either.

Always friendly and great food. Their chicken wings are to die for.To the other reviewers saying "They made make my family wait!!!" lol, next time cook them some pasta then if you don't want your kids to wait on a busy Friday/Saturday night from a very very busy place.

So so disappointed with the fish I have just eaten (well half of it). I have always raved about the fish and chips from this place but sadly not now - I will not use them again. The fish although as large as usual was awful - grey and tasteless. Made me question whether it was really cod! It has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and feeling quite queazy. It saddens me to have had this experience because I have had great fish from them in the past few years.

Ordered lamb shish tonight and it came on just half of pita bread. Used to you get this served on half cut open pita bread filled with rice and you get extra pita bread on side. The salad was not dressed and tasted blunt. Even the usual slice of lemon was missing. After I had my shish I had to scrape leftovers from the fridge as I was still hungry because of the reduced portion I got tonight.There is a new Turkish restaurant just few meters up Queen's road called Gosht. Amazing food and proper service. I'll be getting my take aways from them in future.

We received our order after more than an hour, wondering now who ties their shoelaces for them!! The cod was cold, slimy and accompanied by soggy greasy lukewarm chips, followed up with broken-English excuses when complaining by phone. They replaced the cod and chips, that at least proved more palatable. Ever since taking on Just-East orders, the food quality and delivery service has suffered, affecting both your reputation and customer loyalty.
