The welcome we received was rather cold compared to that received by some later guests whom the staff nearly fell over to get to and greet . The waiter was nearly impossible to understand and his treatment was rather cold towards us so that although the food in the main was very nice, our treatment was not good enough to make us want to go back any time soon .

Food was amazing ,staff lovely and 55 quid a head for 3 courses and a bottle wine isnt bad friendly ,really enjoyed it ,will go again.Food was Quality even the bread so nice.

Really excellent local restaurant. Ever single time we have been the food has been fantastic. Owners very friendly and portions enormous!

Excellent food great menu with exceptional service. We have not been there since pre covid but will be returning very soon. Lovely evening thanks to all the staff for looking after us so well.

First time here for a meal. Really excellent staff and outstanding food. We had a set festive menu and it was great tasting for very reasonably priced.Various options available, but I had tempura prawns, cooked to perfection and a roast turkey main. Good sized portions, sadly not leaving room for dessert!!!.Will definitely visit again

Just had lunch in one of the best restaurants I have been to. The food was just amazing! Tempura prawns just perfect and the best steak and ale pie ever, full of beautiful soft meat with perfect mash. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone. Five stars from me. Also service is brilliant and beautiful restaurant. We will be back for sure!

Over the last couple of months, three different people have recommended this restaurant. Well...they wasn't wrong, a very nice family run business. Not the biggest menu, but enough to satisfy most pallets, mainly fish and steak with a few Greek dishes like Kleftiko.We all went for steak, all four, really good cuts, expertly cooked. But I've got to mention the home cooked chips, who would of thought something as simple as a strip of potato could be so delicious.We shall return...!

First time visit to this place as I saw that the reviews were good. We wanted a traditional roast but decided also to have starters and dessert. We had soup and octopus and both were very good. The roast lamb dinners were very well made too, but something that I thought was lacking was the roast potatoes. These are an important component in a roast dinner, but I strongly suspect they were frozen, so didn’t quite hit the mark. The creme brûlé desserts were I thought under par as they hadn’t quite set so were a bit runny which is a shame. A lot of the food however that was being served looked good, so I’m sure I will come here again.

Had a wonderful large family 60th celebratory meal last night. 30 plus people. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, staff couldn’t do enough for us. Would so recommend this brilliant place and will definitely go back again! Thank you Costa, George and everyone who made our evening so lovely.
