Used to order from this Indian weekly, have spent hundreds of pounds here. Recently moved house and first time ordering to new address. From the moment we first called they were rude, had to tell them our address 6 times as kept interrupting us and talking to someone else off the phone. We made our order and after an hour and a half we called up to enquire where our food was. They started shouting at us telling us they’d tried to deliver but nobody answered. We have a history log of who calls our bell so we know they didn’t. After telling them this they (still shouting) tell us we told them the wrong address. We know we didn’t because we had to repeat it to them 6 separate times and got them to repeat it back to us. The man was being very aggressive on the phone so I told them to forget it. Not sure if there’s new management or something, but I’m disgusted at how we’ve been treated. They obviously didn’t recognise us from our new address as they’re usually lovely and helpful. But if this is how they treat new customers it’s a wonder they have any. Will not order from this restaurant again.

Its a shame, this used to be my favourite Indian take-away.Now a-days the food is nothing like it used to be, and on top of that the staff are terribly rude, I have just waited 1.5 hours with no communication whatsoever about where our order is, they said they knocked and no one answered, but we are in a flat and they never rang our number. On the phone they was very rude and clearly lying about not delivering our order.Indian Ocean in Theydon Bois is much better, don't waste your money here

Lamb tikka, lots of it but a little bit too chewy, tasted nice though, bombay potato really nice

It the best ever takeaway I had, I mean I live one hour away but this chicken tandoori is the best one in England so far the chef has some secret in there

This is a very good takeaway I've been using it for over 15 years and am always satisfied with the food we get. Service is really good and staff are always polite. I would highly recommend

My experience is so bad with them, they don’t know how to talk, delivery man said he is the owner himself so i have to come to pick the order somewhere half of the way. So he refused to come to my door and left and harassing me now for my money. Plz never order from KISMAT TANDOOR they don’t know how to treat their customers.

Amazing Food! Really liked their Chicken Tikka Honey and Sag Paneer. Their chicken curry is also delicious, would highly recommend!

Totally disrespectful to customers. While placing an order the staff member started to have a full on conversation in another language leaving me waiting to complete my order. This was not a one second conversation but one going on for a substantial period. When I said to the staff member I found this disrespectful to me as the customer, he continued to plead his innocence that his actions were respectful and correct without apologising. In my opinion when dealing with customers any business should be given full attention to that person and not leave them waiting while you have a conversation with someone else. We were giving this restaurant one last shot as their standards of hygiene visually seem to be getting worse as well as their use of masks. From the other comments it appears there are multiple issues with this business.

Ordered at 5.30 got at 6.55. Food missing, wrong food sent and part of order was cold. Rang to tell then and they redelivered correct food but to late to eat then. Disappointed but tasty what we had. Wont use again.

Ordered at 8pm on just eat. Food due to arrive at 9pm. 9.30 I called the restaurant to find out where our food was and was told they had run out of rice and they can give us a replacement chupatti or chips instead!?A curry house with no rice!!! I asked for them to cancel the order, in which he turned around and said I will see how long it will take to cook the rice, he came back after keeping me hanging on for almost 10 minutes to say that it will take too long to cook it because they are closed. At this point my partner checked on just eat, and they were still taking orders!!Absolutely shocking. Would be a 0 star but unable to do so.Avoid at all costs.
