Always great service, always great food. Do book as it gets busy, Casa Pipino is a real hidden gem.There is one problem with it though, which is deciding what to eat, although in my experience there is no bad choiceUPDATE.post COVID there is a new menu and it’s been refitted. I don’t like the decor as much (feels less homely), but new toilets are better. the service remains brilliant and the food still wonderful.

Distinctly average food, it's actually 3.5 stars as it is a nice homely premises with exceptional service. I have been to Italian restaurants all over Italy and the UK many times and I am a big fan of italian food. The food here was very well presented and the seemed fresh in every way but the flavours just were not there for me. The tomato sauce was very bland, there was no tartness, the pizza dough too was very plain. The waffle tasted like it was out of a packet and just heated up. That too was ok, just not brilliant. The service was great we were nicely looked after by our host.

An amazing authentic restaurant, serving great quality food with a friendly service. The small premises makes it a really intimate dining experience, so ensure you book ahead to avoid disappointment.

This was a really lovely place that I didnt know existed seeing that I've lived in chigwell for over 30 yrs. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The waiters were very attentive without bring over the top. It's not a big place but felt comfortable with the proximity to the other diners. I would highly recommend this restaurant

I ordered pizza yaaturday evening around 8 the guy who answerd the phone was verry professional but pizza was a hudge disappointment it wasnt cut and looked like it was sitting on heater for much longer then its supposed to got some pics too
