Molen's sandwich bar in Epping Forest

Beautiful restaurant. Helpful staff and food quality was top notch. JOSEPH our waiter took very good care of us! We will be back when we are in the area again. Only thing is we didn't know about service charge but no problem. I recommend the Nutella and Coffee Milkshake.

Lovely ambiance & decor, it’s spotless which is a plus! I ordered eggs Benedict which was absolutely stunning. The service was speedy yet waitstaff had a cold demeanour. However, special shout-out to Joseph who was such a lovely, warm & welcoming member of staff. Joseph really made my day!

Food was good, service was bad. Was made to feel uncomfortable by waitstaff so we would leave as soon as we had finished our food. Waitstaff kept attempting to clean up out table as half our party was still eating. Eventually insisting thay we left after we paid not allowing to sit and talk because they had other customers waiting.

Great Food and friendly staff. The place is immaculately clean.

Went for breakfast on Bank Holiday and the cafe was very busy!! Excellent vegetarian breakfast! Good value for money and great customer service 👍Thank you 😊

Molens is always a great place to visit in Loughton, whether you are with family, friends, or even on your own.The food is always great (especially the breakfasts and pancakes) and it's one of the best places for coffee on the high street.More importantly, when you visit, the staff make you feel welcome and are always happy to see you.The decor is fitting of the location and the menus, even down to the flamingo wallpaper in the bathrooms.I thoroughly recomend a visit whenever you're in the area.

Bit pricey but nice decor and pleasant staff. Only had a herb tea so can't rate the food bug hope to return as food looked nice.

Always a popular choice!Met by a very polite and helpful guy at the door, and led to a table of my choice.He was extremely thoughtful and offered to find me another table if being near to the door was too cold.I ordered the French toast with fruits and honey, and a cup of tea.Service very efficient and polite.French toast was delicious.PG tips tea bag in a cup of hot water was good too.Prices are fairly reasonable, towards the more expensive side, but the quality of food, surroundings and service justifies it.Very recommendable for a Saturday morning weekend breakfast!

My partner and I come here fairly often. The food is always good and fresh. Chicken tikka baguette with yoghurt is especially good. The waiter service is ok but there has been a time when my plate was nearly taken away before I finished and the place wasn’t that busy. Bubble tea, nothing like Asian version! Slightly pricey but, still a nice and clean place to eat.

I honestly hate to leave this review after myself and my partner have been going here for the past 6 years. This was the second time we had takeaway. The first was absolutely perfect but this time everything that could have gone wrong did.Firstly the milkshakes had spilt everywhere. (No cup holders included) so no wonder they split.Then our "Mexican sandwich" was tuna mayonnaise & sweetcorn. Although it states Mexican tuna comes with cheese & jalapenos.The "hot" salt beef sandwich was fridge cold. Definitely not heated up. And it wasn't that it had gone cold on the delivery as our other hot sandwich was still hot.The "manager" was so rude to my partner on the phone. Kept not letting him explain the situation and saying it wasn't there problem. He didn't listen and anytime we tried to explain our issues he just said "what am I suppose to do about that?"Have some bloody customer service!!Bearinging in mind our order with our friends was £62 they obviously don't care anymore. This will be the last time we use what use to be our favourite breakfast place
