Mulberry House in Epping Forest

My husband and I got married at Mulberry House in April, the day was an absolute dream! The staff and the venue is first class, the grounds are stunning and the whole team of staff really looked after my husband and I on the day, as well as all our guests. The sit down meal was excellent, hospitality was second to none. My bridesmaids and I loved the Bridal changing room (which is like out of a movie!) and the groomsmen loved the Lad's lounge. The accommodation was perfect for our family and breakfast in the morning was fabulous! Special mention to Georgia and Clare, who were so supportive and a pleasure to work with. The venue even allowed our dog to be part of our special day! Thank you so much again, we will certainly be visiting on an anniversary!

I would like to thank all concerned for the excellent wedding reception on Saturday 7th May for our son and daughter in law. The wedding coordinator,Claire,was exceptional in every way, especially in keeping smooth transitions throughout the afternoon and evening. All the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Lovely place, visited for a friend's wedding. Staff were incredibly helpful in making the day amazing for everyone not just the bride and groom. Food was amazing. Everything cooked and served beautifully. Rooms seemed spacious and clean.

Attended for my daughter Samantha and now son in law Scott's wedding 1st May. A stunning setting for a beautiful event. The staff were amazing and bent over backwards to accommodate all guests throughout the whole day and night. The wedding breakfast was amazing and comments from guests included 'the best we've ever had' (think this was stating that the lamb shank just fell off the bone!) So big compliments to the chef and the team. Claire is a huge asset to Mulberry House and a special thankyou goes to her, as she supported and ensured that the day went as the bride intended. So a big thankyou to all at Mulberry House from us all.🥂❤

Very peaceful and quiet. The presence of God was very clearly seen in this place.A very suitable place for a retreat. A very good place to spend a quiet weekend.Tha surrounding areas were also quiet.I recommend this place for anyone who loves to spend their time in quietness and meditating. I arrived after 7pm, so I didn't really see the beautiful scenery. The reception staff were very welcoming and offered plenty of information with regard to nearby places. My room was fine, slightly smaller than I expected, but very cosy. I had breakfast. The presentation was first class, and the food itself was cooked to perfection. I really recommend Mullberry House for its wonderful caring staff, their eye for detail, and for the amazing scenery. Please try MH. The Ongar village is not far, lovely old-fashioned town with plenty of unique shops. Thank you..... Gerry ❤️

Amazing afternoon tea, lovely fresh food and great coffee. Lady who served us was so lovely, accommodating & friendly. Beautiful grounds to have a walk round and they have various events throughout the year.

Went to a wedding and the venue was lovely. Grounds so picturesque. Staff were very attentive and made everything run smoothly. Good food.
