Nerissa and Claire's Coffee Bar and Restaurant in Epping Forest

Visited this establishment this afternoon..ordered a simple order of 2 x teas and 2 x sausage sandwiches. The teas came within 5 minutes and the sandwiches took nearly 30 minutes !!! Needless to say the teas were cold by then...and the sausage was not of a good quality at all. In fact rather cheap quality to say the least at £4.95 each.When this was brought to the owners attention, she became argumentative and said we've been very busy....Well.... please get some more staff then..There was one lady cook and the lady herself who was front of house.... more staff needed one thinks !!!!! A poor experience all round... and won't be going back anytime soon....

Lovely coffee shop and gorgeous food. Had a delicious tuna melt tosstie and it felt very relaxed. Felt safe with covid precautions in place too. I'd definitely come back!

Great little find on a wet day. My son is still raving about the egg and bacon sandwich! Lovely staff and good value.

Lovely family lunch. My wife, my 2 year old son and I had toasted sandwiches that were tasty and arrived quickly (ideal as we didn't have long before we had to catch the train back). Service was exemplary, friendly staff, all smiling (behind masks of course) and completed our requests for a high chair and extra sauce with pleasure. When we go back to Ongar we will not hesitate to stop off for a bite to eat. Latte was lovely too!! Thank you

I enjoyed a nice lunch here yesterday, a tasty Tuna melt with some salad on the side. The tables were a good distance apart and Covid compliant. The staff were polite and helpful.

Popped in to escape from a traffic jam and really glad I did. Late Sunday morning, quite busy but waitress appeared quickly with menu and ensure table was clean. Bit of a wait for the food but well worth it. All freshly prepared and hot. Very reasonable prices and wash room facilities were good. Highly recommended.

This place looks nice inside and was a good place to meet my friend for a catch up. Staff were lovely and so was the tea and scones. I would visit again.
