Palm Bay Caribbean in Epping Forest

Wonderful time here. Food was on point , bought a combo meal which was 18 quid. Which is two main courses. And 2 sides. The oxtail was amazing and tender. And stew its in was well put together. The jerk chicken was great aswell although I wasn't keen on the sauce. Guiness punch was lovely too.staff were great and ill definable be back

I love this place! If you was authentic carribean food cooked to perfection then you need to go here!! it's amazing and the staff are really nice music is good cocktails are lovely too 👌

Great food. The only disappointment why I only gave 4 stars was the service. We had to chase up items that was missing from our mains dishes. But the staff apologised and made every attempt to rectify the issues. The manager was working when we went to eat. A pleasant young man with good customer service skills. He knows the value of good customer service. Compared to other Caribbean eating establishments

Palm Bay is a great local spot in Debden! Music was great and to be honest the service and staff very attentive. We were able to move table and felt very comfortable.Why didn’t I give it 5 stars?Hmm good one, I could nit pick on a lot and it’s only because I want it to do great!So I felt that the tables were a little sticky, my mum felt that the food wasn’t very hot.My friend at the Guinness Punch and it wasn’t nice so we sent it back however we were pleased that the staff was able to take that off the bill. I appreciated that the bill didn’t add a discretionary service charge so we gave what we felt.But for 5 starts I would have wanted possibly a bit more, for example our short cocktails came with short straws but too short to sip the drink so had to ask for the longer ones.Personal to me I hate eating this type of food from a bowl so transferred to a plate.Portion sizes were large which is a bonus.I really did enjoy it! If I could it would be 4.5! I will go back for a second opinion. But to the owners thank you for representing Caribbean food in a profession manor!Other similar establishments need to watch out!!

The most authentic Caribbean food in Essex hands down - the jerk is so good and the customer service is excellent.Libby was so friendly, we ended up talking for ages before even ordering.Such a great place, I’m so glad we’ve got a proper Caribbean in Essex now

Very nice place, nice atmosphere and well kept.Staff were very friendly and even the chef came out to assist.Food was very nice, proper jerk and proper patties (most Carribbean place won't do them for how hard they are to get right).Enjoyed my jerk wrap a little on the pricey side (would expect a small side with the wrap at that price unless in the city)Will definitely go again to try the rest of the menu

Really delicious Caribbean food in Loughton! The venue itself is cute and clean, staff were welcoming and friendly. Really nice to see young staff providing excellent customer service.There were a range of other customers from couples, to groups of friends which created a really nice environment.The food was well presented, great flavour and really good portions. Absolute value for money. Would definitely recommend as there are very limited sit in Caribbean restaurants locally.

Didn't know what to think about this place initially, I knew nothing about Carribean food, it was recommended so we went.TOTALLY WORTH IT, clean setting, food was great and thr staff were polite, didn't feel rushed, super relaxed and the food.... you need to try it folks.Will be back again.
