Raj Indian Restaurant in Epping Forest

Have had good food from this place in the past however have had terrible experience with delivery. I've waited 2 hours for an order only to be told it won't be delivered. When trying to get a refund for the order I've been refused. Such a terrible customer experience has put me off ordering from this restaurant again.

Went for the Sunday buffet. Lovely food and good portions sizes and lovely service. Would go back. Easy to park in Tesco.

Always go back to here when in essex and never disappointed,top quality hot food all can expect

Amazing dinner tonight, cooked exactly to our liking and generous portions. Superb flavours and nice to see some different dishes to choose from. Very happy repeat customer.

Been coming here with my family since 1995 😩 and its still so so yummy. Just one thing the bhuna is dry sauce so you should fill the container. Mine in be was less than half full of sauce and more coriander in everything !! LolSincerelyLoyal customer1995-2020

First time,So disappointed,just had a takeaway and it really was so bland,had you run out of spices? I understand if one dish was bland but for ,it all to lack flavour,hardly any spices in any of the dishes,just being truthful and honest,and I was really looking forward to it as well,lacked a lot of taste,and I paid £33 half of it is left as quite tasteless,have used other indians in and around epping,so I do know how the dishes should taste.Big disappointment,I only complain if there is a problem. Not happy.

We've been their regular customer for over 5 years now, mostly delivery. I wouldn't normally judge anyone on one instance as we all know life happens sometimes. But over the last few months the service and the quality of food has taken a nose dive for this business. Extremely rude staff (unacceptable!), missed food items but not willing to sort out, very long wait, cold and almost undercooked food etc. Sadly, this is it for us, no more Raj!

Really good tasting food, always warm and ready to collect on time,Have had one takeaway with was not quite to there normal high standards.The onion barges was half there normal size and fell apart when trying to pick UK.But always a great mix of flavour in the curry’s.

I don’t normally go to the effort of writing reviews but felt I had make an exception on this occasion, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were treated with nothing but kindness and the utmost professionalism.The restaurant does get very busy and the phone was constantly ringing with takeaway orders however the staff at raj were so attentive and considerate it did not have any impact on the service we received.The food was amazing and just melts in your mouth especially the prawn zinga is just delicious.One of the best curry places I have ever been. Thank you to everyone at RAJ.
