The black swan in Epping Forest

Booked here for Mother’s Day, had the 3rd slot of the day, the food was spot on -fresh, piping hot and delish. This was slightly more expensive than other places on Mother’s Day but worth every penny. The starters were gorgeous and generous portions too, the main was faultless and the deserts lovely, all presented beautifully. Thank you for a lovely evening and I will be returning for the pie evening I’ve seen you do. Great job guys xx

If you haven't been for a Sunday roast here you really are missing out. The taste the portions the service all first class. Oh and a great pint of Guinness as well.

A lovely traditional pub with really good food. Excellent welcoming staff that brought a bowl of water for our dogs as soon as they saw we had them. I would go back.

Had an amazing meal at lunchtime, small plate!!!!! Food was delicious,hot and plenty of it definitely go again

Such a wonderful treat, the service was as warm and enjoyable as the food. Didn't think the Sunday roast could be topped until the sweets hit the table. Amazing Great selection of beers. Looking forward to our return visit soon.

The home made food is outstanding and we received the warmest welcome and service on arrival with hardly any notice!We had the whitebait and soup to start followed by a trio of lamb, beef and turkey roast. Although in a food coma it was impossible not finish with a lemon meringue pie and raspberry & white chocolate torte for desert.Simply divine! Thank you for a wonderful Sunday meal
