We waited over an hour for the delivery, and they sent us the wrong soups. When we called they told us it would be another 25 minutes before they could deliver the correct ones, we asked for a refund on the card and they refused saying take it up with just eat.All this aside, both the prawn toast and chicken in breadcrumbs were burnt, and the seaweed was inedible.We will not be using this place again.

I normally go to the New hongkong but I found it was quite a bland Chinese but really cheap!The chinaman on the other hand was stunning, full of flavour, fast delivery, loved it, will be having it from these guys from now on!Second review !!!Even better these guys are a dark horseTakeaway was on the 2/10/20Even better !!

One of the better Chinese takeaways in the area. Food is prepared quickly on the wok and a good portion is given. The food itself is not too greasy and tastes good, although the meat was very chewy so I wonder what cut of meat it was and from what animalt. Nice to go there for a treat but I wouldn't make a daily habit of it.

Have ordered food from Chinaman on a numerous of occasions, and has always been good. However from tonight I will not be ordering from them again. Longer than usual delivery and the food was awful, the rice alone was a sloppy mess with no taste. the crispy chilli beef well, all crisp no beef like biting into hard crackling and tasteless and so was the curry. Really disappointing for what it cost ! never again.

We treat ourselves once a month to a delivery from here (borders lane Loughton) for the last 6 years. Always had a quick delivery, always lovely food, staff friendly on phone and at door when deliver. I’d recommend to people.

This was my second choice as Pak choi put dairy in my order and even had the nerve to say that egg isn't dairy!!Anyway, I went there to order my food and they actually had a list of ingredients for each dish and suggestions of what is best for vegans. Really nice food and the young lady serving was so helpful.Oh and a big shout out to yogi the cuddly German shepherd!!!!

Been using the place for the past few years whenever I visit the area. Last two visits the food has been bland. Until last night, had never seen a chicken chow mein with no soy sauce or onion before. Will be going elsewhere in the future.

Terrible bad quality meat in the chop suey. Chef shouted and swore at me for asking for a vegetarian option. If you like very rude angry shouty people it's quite entertaining but otherwise Avoid. Food Standards Agency rating (January 2018) is zero from 5. The one 🌟 is from Google not me...

My partner encouraged me to never eat there has it is dirty. I gave it a chance, that was a mistake.Food never delivered, after chasing our order; I have never spoken to someone who has such a chip on their shoulder and extremely rude.Would suggest a alternative chinese
