We had an engagement dinner with close friends the food became the highlight. The lobster dish was amazing it hit the spot the owner looked after us and gave us an experience to remember, will come back again.

Best curry I’ve had. Absolutely fantastic and is by the best curry house in ongar.The menu is great and service fantastic.Would absolutely recommend to anyone.The butterfly prawn starter was excellent and the rogan Josh was so moreish.

The food was nice but my boyfriend asked for something which wasn't too spicy, which it actually blew his head off it was so spicy, I asked for the sauce to be put on the side, when my dish came the sauce was all over it.Now to my score of a 1....£19 for 2 glasses of wine that is absolutely ridiculous. When paying the bill which was the most expensive Indian I've ever had, my card didn't work the first time or so i thought it said void. So i did my card again to which it went through fine. However I just checked my bank account to find I was charged twice for my meal...I will be returning later for an explanation & a refund...This is why I only gave 1 star....

Staff were friendly to us, service was fast. Food was plentiful.But food was terribly bland and tasteless from the set Monday night set menu with additional items from main menu. Staff were ridiculing an old man who was trying to order. Only 3 tables being used so not busy. They were also rushing people out as they were closing at 10 they said.Real shame as we have been in the past and its been nice. We will try the Spice Masala next time.
