The Warren Wood Pub in Epping Forest

Great old school pub, outdoor seating, TVs inside showing the football. Right near the forest if you want to go stretch your legs. There is a stall next door which sells sea food and staff very friendly.

I called in at the Warren Wood mid afternoon on a Wednesday whilst walking the London Loop. To be honest I was surprised to find it so busy at this time of day. Most pubs I stop at on the walk at this time of day are very quiet.This does seem to be very much a regulars pub, despite t6he fact there doesn't seem to be much around other than the pleasant forest/woodland I've been walking through.But I enjoyed a pint or more here. Service was very friendly and efficient. I was tempted by a pint of London Pride, but was thirsty after walking so opted for Fosters instead. There was music playing unobtrusively in the background and TV screens equally unobtrusively showing sport.Definitely worth a stop if walking Epping Forest. I liked this place. A proper pub.

Great pub, good beer, friendly staff.

Review for seafood at the pub: terrible value for tiny portions of poor quality frozen seafood (I saw the staff bringing in bags of it with my own eyes). Disappointing

Good place for a drink while walking through Epping forest. They don't serve food, but there's a food place right next to it.

Seafood done brilliantly! Outside seating , hot and cold seafood in a pub car park . No pretence just very good food . Didn't enter the pub but there was a nice atmosphere all round . Parking available on the road , wrap up and enjoy.

Beautifully run establishment. Clean, calm, warm and inviting. Very reasonably priced. Lots of choice of food and snacks. Fantastic staff were attentive and nothing was too much effort. The toilet 🚽 (unlike many public houses) was spotless. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be returning.PS. Its proximity to Connaught Lake and Epping forest makes this place even more attractive.

We had a great Christmas party at The Warren, and the catering Company BARBECUE GRILL MASTER was Fantastic. Amazing Sharwama (Chicken Doner), Burger, Sausages and The Chips are Crispy and Lovely. Can't fault the drinks.
