Wings Cafe in Epping Forest

Absolutely fantastic place. Get more than your money's worth as food is superb and views is brilliant for any plane lovers. No other place let's you eat 25 metres from HEMS taking off!!

This has always been a hidden gem that I regularly recommend to people. Cannot beat the scenery, family friendly but also great for adults to watch the working Airfield. Food is always reasonably priced and enjoyable.

Fantastic hidden gem at the back by the runways.Very friendly lad served me, happy to chat for a few mins whist my breakfast was being cooked. Recommended!

A nice cafe. The food was excellent. Service was decent. Google maps will get you straight there and is worth using if you've never been before.

Very hard working staff good service. Very busy with all sorts of visitors especially families. Good food at reasonable prices I would recommend a visit.

Location is amazing good accessible areas for all children included. Food is ok when ordering check the extras with the sandwiches as we were meant to have tortillas chips when they came on the table we didn't get them. Staff told us they've run out lucky I've ordered chips for the children. High chairs available for children. If you order an English breakfast cup of tea you get one mug only not the tea pot.Staff didn't challenge a customer bringing their dog indoor next to the food. Thought it wasn't acceptable unless it was assistance dog.Overall worth being there if you are not fussy about small bits and bobs.Dont worry if your children won't finish their food staff are so kind they give a polystyrene container happy ride home

Lovely little cafe, with a super play area for the littuns, with swings, climbing bits and trampolines. Food is good price and tasty with lots of eating area outside and inside. Added bonus of lots of exciting planes buzzing by, taking off, etc to keep the kids and big kids entertained

Spent a couple of hours here sitting outside in the sun watching the planes go by. Good food and great service. A great way to spend an afternoon

Visited here as we'd heard of it and very glad we did. Our 17mth old boy loved it. As we arrived a helicopter was just landing, prob only 200 yds from us then numerous planes taxi 'd past. The Essex Air Ambulance is next door and that happened to take off too. The children's play area is great, although not for a non-walking 17mth old....and oh yeah the coffee and cake we had was nice too, we will return.

There food really needs some work on the quality,Many times had to return food as it’s cold or they have missed the fillings out of jackets potato’s.Very hit and miss as a local business it’s disappointing as we bring clients in for meetings regularly who we take for lunch and the staff don’t seems at all bothered.
