Doddington Fish Bar in Fenland

Best chip shop in surrounding areas. Reliable and great food. The fish and chicken is to die for and donner meat doesn't taste cheap. Very busy at peak times so call ahead with your order.

The times I have been here and this is one of the best if not the best fish and chips I have ever tasted and if I could more higher marks I would and I will completely agree with others who given this place 5 stars and given them excellent reviews too . Hopefully I will be back in the near distant future of totally fantastic fish and chips and the staff are friendly too .

Worse sausage and chips I have ever tasted, told the owner so and threw them in the bin....

Over £13 for fish chips, and a sausage for the dog. I felt completely ripped off, needless to say I will not be returning

Fish and chips are always great and the staff ladies are just amazing with the mad rushes at times 👍

Positives: Chips were absolutely lovely. Nice and crispy, not greasy at all. Service was relatively quick too.Negatives: The cod couldn't have been any greasier, absolutely dripping with oil and the battered sausage was hands down the most disgusting sausage I've ever had. Obviously they used the same batter that was used on the fish as it was so fishy and the sausage was mushy. Yuk!

Absolutely amazing! Battered halloumi and chips!

We are staying at a nearby Caravan Park (Fields End Water) and decided to have a ‘chippy tea’. Great S&K pie for me, and fish cakes for my wife. Chips freshly cooked and some of the best we’ve had. Coming back next year so will defo be having more ‘chippy teas’.
