Greggs in Fenland

Very small and messy at the tills, people often jump queue/don't know when their turn is, poorly designed premises need a rethink.

Lovely happy helpful lady served us today around 2pm 14,1,22 and as usual our food was great

For the past 14 days your cafe in Wisbech has been without sugar. Is the management happy with this situation?

Rotund lady with "manager" badge started shouting at me as I walked to go to the toilet. She said I needed to ask permission because I hadn't ordered anything. She kept shouting and would not let me get a word in edgeways. When she eventually stopped, I told her my intention was to go to the toilet and then order my food as I didn't really want to take it in with me to the toilet. She just assumed I was going to use the toilet and go even though I've been a regular for many years. Disgraceful rude service. Never again.

Greggs is a great place for affordable eating out especially for breakfasts. However, we were surprised when we realised that Greggs doesnot provides salt or pepper for soups, for a health reasons. It's a bit extreme because Greggs offers a wide range a super sugary and a very high calorific cakes, virtually packed with fats and sugars which contribute towards developing diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. And, there is a huge choice of such "unhealthy" items on Greggs menu. However, we customers do try to choose something healthy or vegetarian, like a soup, Greggs would refuse to provide salt for customers justifying it by health reasons which are minimal compare with a real damage to health caused by the rest of Greggs products packed with processed sugars and saturated fats.

I ordered a black coffee, i also saw a vegan sausage roll was available and decided to see what all the fuss has been about .The server was friendly enough, the coffee was enjoyable as for the vegan sausage roll, the pastry was delicious and the filling has a good texture, the flavour is pretty good, but there is a tang to it, it will probably be one of those that you will either like, or hate with a passion. I liked it. I will be back tomorrow.

The lady in Greggs was more than helpful. I think her name was Marie. She couldn't do enough to be more helpful and serve our food & coffee just as we wanted it .. MANY Thanks to the lovely lady :-)

Loved the air conditioning in this heatwave, toilets n baby change available. Plenty of tables/seating. Downside never enough milk available n messy tables sometimes. Otherwise would've given 5 stars. Oh n friendly n polite staff too.

Very good if a little busy at lunchtimes. Sadly the food is often too hot or too cool, they aren't allowed to reheat- thanks EU for stupid rules.Also a bit expensive tax to eat in, small size of large coffee. Good value otherwise but not meeting the likes of costa for similar price. See Greggs Vs Costa online.

The reason one goes to buy bread from a proper bakers is because one likes choice. Unfortunately Greggs will no longer allow a customer the choice. I am now point blankly refused the option of buying an uncut tin loaf. It must be sliced. Where is the customer choice here? I will no longer bother with such a narrow minded establishment.
