Not your standard "Indian" eatery, looked good for meat eaters but I ate the vegan options when visiting & everything tasted as it should and was tasty as it looked.Would recommend if in the area.

Can not fault the food service everyone was very friendly and welcoming

Have been a number of times to this spot. Especially for the Thursday deal. A great mix of the classics and new and intriguing dishes. Love the goat. Service is alway friendly.

·

Always a good experience but this time the food was even better, if that is possible. All four of our party were very happy.

·

What lovely fresh food. Great staff. Great night out with family

·

I was served papadun with source; I was happy to pay for £1 for papadum. But, I was charged £1.65 for the sauce which I believe to round the price to £30.

We were there on Friday with friends. The table was so Crammed up and there is large party table and there was no social distancing. Really feel uncomfortable and safe. Being 4star plus I was expecting the food to be that. I can honestly say that I wouldn't go back for second. It is the worst meal I ever had it so dry and naan bread is worst I ever tasted.

Unfortunately all the food is microwave from packets. Not fresh, not cooked on the premises and the same as you get served in Wetherspoons opposite. Not authentic at all. A huge disappointment. I’m from East London and eat in Indian restaurants weekly so I do know there’s slight differences in every restaurant but this is clearly pre- packaged food. Absolutely rubbish and we’ll overpriced. It’s a NO from all 6 of us 🤮

Having walked by this restaurant many times and seeing the smiling faces eating inside we thought it was about time we tried it out . Four of us ordered several different dishes including vegetarian, and not only did they arrive on time together they were all piping hot fresh and absolutely delicious! Individual tastes and requests were gladly catered for.The Gurkha menu was interesting so I tried goat for the first time ! Apart from not being able to get that tune from the sound of music out of my head it was really tender and tasty. We all agreed how nice the food was . The tables and glasses were squeaky clean and Mo’s hospitality and warmth was a joy. We will be making this a monthly treat and cannot rate this high enough. Excellent service excellent food ! Jobs a good un 👍

Why can't people be totally honest. It was absolutely fab when it was the old restaurant. I don't get these new dishes and when I asked for a stuffed chapati it was roar doe. Sorry about my spelling. The food comes out too too fast. Iv been to Indian restraints that Cook in front of you as do Chinese. And when you have to wait. It means your food is getting cooked fresh. And as for the other people that had to pay for poppadoms and pickles 🥒. I was also shocked that I had to pay. As being from London which is expensive. Those come free while you wait to order. I feel some of these comments are not from familiar Indian curry eaters. But if you all enjoyed your meal then that's great. I sorry to say. But I wish my old restaurant was back. Miss them very much. If you want a Jhalfrezi then you shod get one that's cooked with chilli's and the correct spices. I was so so sad I never got near to that.. Sorry people but my star rating is 1. .
