Very impressed with the service and the food tonight. I had the Tiger Prawns to start, very fresh and lovely salad to match, great start!! I then had the Chicken Teriyaki meal as the main. The chicken was fresh and the flavours of the noodles was amazing. Finished with the creme de la creme: the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Such a lovely meal tonight and would highly recommend.The service was exceptional from Katrina and Lucy. They worked really hard and were very attentive to our needs. The professional image from the front of house staff was exceptional. I even got a visit from the head chef Sachin to check how our evening went. I can safely say that this was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. Thank you!!!

Absolutely the best place to eat in town. Super friendly and enthusiastic staff and great food. It melts in your mouth. They also have a variety of beer on tap, to complement the food. The area around is very quiet and we could even stay there after closing time after ordering the last round. Highly recommended for everyone who is around town. Absolutely 5 stars.

Very nice pub. Modern decor, clean. Welcoming staff, very friendly. Food menu done properly, offer a limited menu but cook and present it well. Impressed, we'll be back.

Wife & I dropped in tonight without booking but was made very welcome by the very accommodating landlord. Had the Salmon & Teriyaki chicken with noodles & both meals were superb. Lovely atmosphere & very tastefully decorated dining area. Highly recommended.

When I go out to eat I like to have something I couldn't eat at home and I can honestly say the salmon I had at the Elm Tree was superb much better than when I cook it myself. The accompanying vegetables also lovely. I tasted food from others at the table which was also great. Reasonably priced and attentive staff in easing surroundings

I came with family 8 adults and 2 babies, they were fully booked and still service was faultless and the food was amazing. I don't often leave good reviews but felt I had to make sure I did for here

Had Mothering Sunday lunch here and we weren’t disappointed the food came out quickly and hot and was very tasty beef was cooked very well and a good selection of vegetables ,Would recommend it

Great little place! We enjoyed a night here yesterday. We had never been and had occasion to stay to pick up a new puppy in the area. The staff were fantastic. Particular call out to Jasmin and the chef. Both could not have been more welcoming, engaging and attentive. We were lucky with the Steak Evening! The food was excellent.The room was comfortable with a comfy bed too.Would recommend.Thanks again!

We went for our staff Christmas party this evening. There were 26 of us booked in. We were so impressed by the organisation and service we received. All of the meals came out hot, well presented and in good time so that we were eating together. It is the best staff, Christmas meal I have been to. Thank you to the great team at The Elm Tree Inn. Nothing was too much trouble and the chef even came out to cut a birthday cake for one of the ladies.

I've just had an excellent Sunday lunch at the Elm Tree with my wife and some close friends. We arrived without a booking and despite the restaurant being very busy the friendly staff kindly found us a table. The whole experience was very positive. The service by the team was top notch. The interior decor was smart and modern with nice artwork. Food and drink was great and we were extremely pleased all in all.
