Great beer, great atmosphere

A group of us came here for a drink after bell ringing at the village church. Great traditional pub atmosphere. Staff and locals were friendly. They had very nice real ales.

Lovely country pub. Very popular with locals but made visitors feel very welcome. Amazing food, all home cooked. Delicious, huge portions and reasonably priced. Wish we had found it earlier in the holiday, would have eaten there every night.

Monday night, and I have spent the evening catching up with a friend enjoying a home cooked tasty fish pie filled with salmon, smoked haddock, prawns in a creamy sauce. Crown and Mitre is a friendly village pub that is run by a local husband and wife team who were very welcoming and I look forward to my next visit.

Great food, great prices, lovely staff and friendly locals. Sunday lunch is particularly wonderful!

Nice cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff who are happy to serve, to chat and it's openly apparent that they have a great sense of humour! Will definitely come again!

Very traditional village pub. Looks to be the centre of the village community. Staff were diligent and variety of drinks was abundant. Can't decide if barmaid was rude or funny, bit of both.
