Very friendly staff, nice local pub. Nice inside area and a decent outside space for summer.

Hubby and I had a lovely meal lunch time and with the 2 for £10 meal deal we paid less than £25 for 2 course n drinks

Nice staff & location with a garden but the beer was awful when we went. The cask Wherry was sour so must have been sitting there for ages. Not a lot of choice otherwise if you don't want big brand lagers.

This was our first visit to this pub. The food was delicious, piping hot and very good value for money. There is a great selection of beers on draught as well. The was however a lack of ambiance. The dining room could do with a bit of decoration and some background music. The staff whilst very friendly need to be coordinated better. We were served with are drinks straight away but waited a while for someone to take are order, customers who come in after us had their orders taken before us, which is really frustrating, I had to ask in the end for someone to take are order. The cutlery was then just plonked on the table. No condiments or sauces on table or offered! Now it may have just been the staff having an off day. I would eat there again and you can sit outside to eat. The food is worth it.

Turned up for Sunday Lunch with a table of 4 and 3 dogs. Once we had found a table had to go and get my own umbrella from the store by the door of the pub. Got all the way up to the table to find that 1st umbrella did not fit the table so had to limp back and change but second time lucky. Ordered drinks which came in good time and ordered food 2 x starters and 4 x main course. was then approached by waitress who asked for money for the drinks, I asked if we could pay for it all together and was told we could not have a tab outside (as we were all outside due to Covid Regulations I found this a bit strange) I suggested that we pay for our meals at the same time then and paid for it accordingly. The starters then turned up at the same time as the main courses and I had to send 1 back as it had not been cooked as requested. When it did come back it was fine. Food was good quality, fresh, well presented and great value for money. We were then tempted by the desert menu and ordered and paid for it. A few minutes later another waitress came and asked for the money for the deserts but we explained that we had already paid for it. Waitresses were doing their best but seemed a little disjointed and rushed off their feet.

Afternoon tea, what a great addition to an already fabulous pub! A great selection of sandwiches, cakes and warm scones with jam and cream. Cream teas also available as it the option to enjoy a glass (or two!) of prosecco. Looking forward to another visit very soon!
