Ye Olde Griffin Hotel in Fenland

The room was a decent size, well decorated and spotless.The manager Sandy and her staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating, helping us fashion a make shift fridge in the room with ice and ice buckets, as the gorgeous marketmade us buy cheese and fresh sea food.Unfortunately our room was situated right next to a generator which was very noisy and ran all night. I was only informed that the venue had a 2 a.m music licence after I booked so if you're looking for a quiet early night, im not sure this is the right spot.

Nice pub the staff on the carvery were very welcoming and friendly. Not the best carvery we have been to but not the worst, roast potatoes out of ten a three and to me that's what makes a Sunday roast. Next table to us ordered of the menu and it all looked good well cooked and was quick to arrive at the table.

Me and my sister went here to get some dinner last week. The food was delicious! But what really stood out the most was the lovely lady that served us, Armstrong (unsure of 1st name). She was really bubbly and easy to talk to. She was very efficient with putting our order through and getting our drinks for us.

One of the staff members called Andrei has a really charismatic and bubbly attitude when serving customers. He creatively stacks glasses and constantly makes customers laugh. He is also really fast on his feet and really cares about the customers. Made me feel very welcome. You can tell He is an asset to griffin

I had a lovely meal at a reasonable price. The bar had a great range to choose from. All the staff were super friendly, and I was served by Hannah Armstrong who was superb. I would recommend Ye Olde Griffin for anyone in the March area to try out. I know that I wll go back.

This is our first visit to ye old griffin and it won’t be our last. We weren’t sure how to order waitress or bar, so we asked a lady who was clearing the tables, she explained how but said she would come back and take our order, which she did very quickly, her name was Sandy and she was very friendly, made us feel at ease and we must admit she made us feel like “regulars “.Our meals arrived and the staff who brought them was also very friendly. The food was great and we both cleared our plates with delight.We will most definitely be making another visit and very soon, keep up the good work it is I am sure appreciated by all your customers. When it was a busy saturday night id lost my mates and i was also a little tipsy, one of the guys called Andrei i believe helped me find my friends and offered to get a phone to ring them as i had ran out or minutes. He made me feel really safe and welcome. Great service. Great guy.

We live going to the Griffin. There’s a real family atmosphere and the food is good. The staff are very friendly and last time we were in, we were served by a lady whose name, we think, is Armstrong. Not only did she have us in fits, but she took the time to have a laugh and joke with our teenage kids. We’ll definitely be in again.

Absolutely recommend.Nice, homely hotel, spacious, clean room, crispy sheets. Amazing with pets, very pet friendly. I was allowed my dog to come with me for breakfast and staff is very friendly and welcoming, fantastic all around! Absolutely recommend this Olde Griffin as your first choice if you staying in March or surrounding area. Oh, the hotel also has good parking area behind the building. Brilliant! Thank you for making our stay so comfortable xx

Absolutely fantastic quality food, shockingly reasonable prices and attentive, humorous and kind hearted staff. Can't believe I've missed out on visiting here for so many years! Sunday carvery was a highlight but the regular menu is also brilliant.Well definitely be coming back as soon as possible.
