Disappointed to say the least. Beef no taste , limited selection of vegetables . Potatoes severely over dosed in Rosemary. 1 visit to the carvery which in fairness is normally enough for anyone , therefore why not just have a set Sunday roast? Anyway different tastes for different folk, not one I would use again.

Food was very well cooked and full of flavour. Menu a little limited, even offering a stew in the middle of summer. Service was efficient and friendly, except the slight accident spilling one of our drinks. Price is very modest, meal for 2 came to £30.

The premises and staff were great, but the food was not! The beef was tough, vegetables overcooked, and the trifle a sad joke. The only thing I had worth eating was the baked Brie. Never again!
