Really overpriced and underwhelming food. The staff were nice and the kids play area was a god send but every part of the meal was well below average. None of it tasted fresh or high quality at all. Fillet steak was cold, looked really poor. Burger was ok, chips were ok. Kids burger was dry as a bone. It felt like we were paying tripplw the price for Whetherspoons quality food. I would avoid this and cook in your rooms!

Lure you in with a great looking menu, charge a hefty deposit,And then completely destroy your evening when they reveal that by as early as 6pm theve run out of all the best items fillit steak duck ect ectAnd get left with a burgerI also confronted front of house to witch he blatantly lied and said he did tell us as we walked in that the menu was shortShould of gone to the American dina instead .....don't eat here.

Firstly, I would just like to say I was sceptical going here after reading reviews of this venue but due to issues finding another venue we were left little option so we gave it a go. My god, I am glad we did! We enjoyed our meal so much we went back the next evening! The food was amazing, I couldn't fault one element on all of our dishes. Across the 2 evenings I had the duck and the salmon mains and both were cooked and presented beautifully. My partner had the duck both nights simply because it was so amazing. I would say on my experiences that the staff across both nights were attentive, polite and very helpful. The addition of the soft play was welcomed as it kept my 3 year old occupied whilst we waited for food to be served. The soft play is not massive but big enough keep a young one happy! I cannot comment on deserts as we didn't have any but the ones leaving the kitchen looked lovely. The one thing I was a bit shocked at was the pricing but considering the location I am not surprised. That being said when the food arrived I didn't hesitate paying the bill as the food was simply delicious and I believe I got value for money.I highly recommend you give this place a try if you are on resort and fancy something tasty!

We recently came to Center Parcs as a family group of 14. We decided to eat at Café Rouge on the Saturday evening to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. We were waited on by Tracy who did an amazing job making sure all food and drink requirements were met the whole time we were there. The children were given their food first which allowed the adults to eat in piece while they used the play room. The food was great and piping hot which I appreciate is extremely difficult with so many to cater for. No one in the party had any complaints whatsoever. We were waited on attentively from start to finish and cannot praise the waitress enough for all her hard work that evening. They even provided a small dessert for my husband decorated with a candle to acknowledge his birthday which was much appreciated. We had also eaten in Café Rouge the previous lunchtime and were welcomed and served in the same way. Great staff! Keep up the good work!

Food was great and good choice. Service wasn’t brilliant, two of the staff were quite rude and also forgot drinks. But other than that, a nice place to eat, it looks nice and the food was good so that’s the main thing.

Beware. We had a large party booking 10+. As you would expect in a holiday resort. We had to pay a large deposit to secure the table pre holiday arrival. Which was fine. However after the meal they tried to charge an additional £25 for table service and then further tips expected. Wasn’t told about the table service charge. Food took 30min+ and the restaurant was 1/4 full. Asked for the bill 3 times before someone finally brought it over. Lots of hidden charges in the food, which if you you read the menu would look like it’s included. Food was average at best and only two vegan options on the menu. Cafe rouge shouldn’t demand such high prices and standards when they can not meet them.

The food was awful. All the menu looked great The sweet potato fries was the only good thing. Not much to offer for dietary needs.

Had a great family meal here. As a vegan, I had around three options for each course - starter, main and dessert too. We had a really friendly waitress called Chloe who made us feel very welcome. Would definitely go back!

good variety food and drinks menu. can recommend black Angus 6oz burger with salad or chips and low alcohol beer. large restaurant with high chairs available, outside seating area.

Not the best breakfast I have had. Toast was tasteless, the tomatoes were under cooked or not cooked at all, they were just cut in half. The spinach had a bad off taste to it and the mushrooms were burnt. The beans and the hash browns were the only things I liked and ate. As well as the avocado. It's okay for a quick fix early morning breakfast before heading out to activities. Plus it was the only cafe that opened at 8.30am on a Sunday. The staff and management were good and thankfully they gave us a discount as no one was fully satisfied.
