Golden Egg in Forest Heath

By far the worst Chinese meal we have had for years. Chicken balls were stodgy with far too much batter and a tiny piece of chicken. The shredded beef was tasteless and the portion was tiny. Tub was filled with carrot and onion. We certainly won't be using this takeaway as our next chinese meal.

Quick delivery. Good portions. Taste lovely. Really enjoyed it all. 4 stars only because my partner wasn't impressed with ribs. All onions on the bottom have been swimming in the oil.

Late night meal pit stop not usually one for Oriental food at this time, however that said I've had my fair share. Really liked the onions in my salt n pepper wings but the portion size was small. I had only four wings in there and my local would region between 6-10 wings. Quality of the chicken was good and the crispy skin. Egg friend rice was ok too. Just the portion size of the wings let me.

Lovely food, great taste and good portion sizes. Really friendly staff, I would recommend to anyone.

Really disappointed, usually their food is great. I think it has gone downhill. The pork balls are all batter with minimal amount of meat inside, the salt and chilli chips where soggy and undercooked. Also £3.60 for 3 tiny duck spring rolls which were mostly pastry with hardly any filling is ridiculous. All in all the quality and portion sizes have decreased will prices are going up. Think they have been hit by the current climate, trying to save money where possible with, smaller portions, lower quality ingredients etc, but increasing prices to the customer.

Lovely local Chinese takeaway. Prices are good and the service is fantastic. Food always arrives on time and hot. I recommend you give them a try. You won't be disapointed.

I ordered last week and I’m utterly disappointed with not only the food, which was extremely dry and cold, but there staff especially the female management. They were very rude and completely disregarded me !!! DO NOT GO HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

We had this delivered from uber and it was quite a nice Chinese. Lots of flavour and it was the perfect temperature on arrival. The chicken balls could have been a bit crispier in my opinion but other than that it was quite nice. The sweet and sour tasted more like bbq sauce I will say. But overall good experience.
