Hmmburger in Forest Heath

Went in to Newmarket for some quick lunch and was very happy with the food at hmmburger.There is a massive choice of food available and with out door seating is lovely to take the dog and sit in the sun having lunch. The food was prepared fast and tasted Amazing! I would highly recommend the milkshakes as they were delicious, and the seasoned fries.

I ordered delivery so of course I'm not experiencing hmmburger at its best.However I paid £21.25 +£5 for delivery of a Big Daddy, large milkshake and Cajun fries which is ridiculously steep in my opinion. They missed out the jalapeños from the burger which I added and paid more for. The patties were overcooked and rubbery despite there being options for how well-done you wanted it (I chose medium). The fries were a mixture of overcooked and undercooked. The Oreo milkshake should be called an 'Oreo-flavoured' milkshake as I couldn't find any distinct pieces of biscuit in it.I couldn't finish the meal as it made me feel sick. I don't doubt that the restaurant is better in person, but I'm not convinced I'd go there had I had my meal in dine-in condition. For me, the construction of the burger didn't work. It felt like a toss-up between trying to emulate something simple and classic like Five Guys, and combining that with a restaurant burger.To improve for delivery, I'd suggest to take the patties off the heat earlier, toast the buns so that they can stand up to all the moisture, use foil wrap and fold the top of the bag down to retain as much heat as possible.

My first visit, and I wasn't disappointed. A very good burger, great sweet potato fries (with tasty house sauce) and some excellent onion rings, all washed down with an oreo shake. Great food, a good price and very friendly service. Thank you, we'll be back next time we're in Newmarket.

Absolutely amazing food. The best burger I've had here in the UK. The fries were also fantastic. A little pricey compared to other places. For a burger, fries & milkshake it was just over £15.

Amazing food. Burger was flavorful without any additions to the meat. Chips were crisp and delicious and the onion rings were perfect. Truly the best burger place I've been to!

The burger was delicious. They actually seasoned the burgers like America. I really enjoyed the side of chips (French fries) and coleslaw together. I will return.

Absolutely loved our visit to Hmmburger!! The food was so good! Very friendly staff! The house sauce is the best!! Very clean and great atmosphere! Will definitely be back!!

Very kind people running the business. The BLUE BURGER was so delicious!! Nothing was overdone, it was the perfect size and amount that left you satisfied and not overly stuffed. I also got a cappuccino there, pretty tasty if you ask me! Thank you and I'll be back with friends!!

Wow! This place was amazing! If you're ever in England or see one of these in a city or town near you you must try. These guys make 5 guys look like McDonald's😆😆. I had the Big Daddy Burger with there seasoned fries. Also chocolate shake everything was delicious. Great food, great atmosphere , and the staff was great as well.
