Pizza Express in Forest Heath

Service and food was great on the night. But disappointingly turned away previously due to staff shortages but restaurant clearly empty, could be more polite.

Although advertised as having 20 minute delivery on deliveroo, a reported lack of drivers caused the delivery to be stuck for more than an hour. I will ammend this review once these circumstances change.Update: it has now been 2 hours, no calls or updates from the restaurant.

Friendly team members - good atmosphere - menu with lots of choice and lovely hot coffee to round off our meal.

Fantastic experience, on entering we mentioned it was our daughters birthday and were promptly seated at a table with some balloons. We were able to create our own pizza (half and half with added toppings) which was not on the menu.The two waitresses Aggie and Marie were attentive very friendly and polite. Customer service was exceptional.We will definitely visit again, the two waitresses made the evening for us. Thanks so much 😊

Another fantastic night with the amazing team at Pizza Express Newmarket celebrating my brothers birthday, Newmarket Pizza Express is his fave in our area and with good reason! The staff here are always friendly, deliver exceptional service and the food is always fast, fresh and delicious!A special mention for Marie who has been on our Birthday journey with my Bro for the past 3 years, Marie, you always go above and beyond to make our night with you guys exceptional, such a delight to walk in and see your smiling face there to greet me whilst waiting for my brother and his fiancé. We took our Niece for dinner last night and was greeted by Marie.We last ate here approx 18 months ago and Marie recognised us from this visit.Now this is excellent customer service, being valued as a customer. Marie was very efficient, professional and friendly throughout.She also assisted my partner with choosing ingredients for his pizza.Overall excellent customer service delivered by Marie, we shall recommend and also be returning.Keep up the good work! We went to Pizza Express last week. The restaurant was clean and staff were very friendly. Marie served us and was very knowledgeable about the menu and extremely helpful, nothing was to much trouble for her!We loved it so much we are returning this week!

My daughter had a pizza party back in November. It was brilliant! The waitresses were amazing with the kids. I barely lifted a finger. Very attentive also lots of extras and the price was, I thought, cheap for what we got. I wouldn't hesitate booking another one in the future and come highly recommended

We had a very pleasant lunch time experience. Popped in for a drink and something light to eat. Even though we weren't eating big our server, Zoe, looked after us as if we had bought a three course meal! Food was well prepared and quick to arrive, tasty too! Highly recommended!

Food was good when it finally came but the service was awful. Very slow despite not being that busy, and no attempt to let us know before we ordered that it would take a long time.They only seemed to have one person working in the kitchen from what I could see so I guess they were totally over run, even with only a few tables in.Starters of dough balls took 35 mins to come out. Pizza came out fairly quickly after that, but we waited another 20 mins for desserts, and a long wait for drinks because the server forgot about them.
