My preferred spot to pick up fish and chips in Haywards Heath (despite a couple of others being closer to my house). Good portions at reasonable prices

Been looking for some decent chippy shop chips where there not undercooked and stodgy lol. Sam's fish bar has absolutely smashed exactly the taste and quality I was trying to find from younger days!! Kids loved it too and mine have a habit of being VERY picky but now everyday it's "are you getting chips or battered sausage tonight and please please please can I have some" epic food! Very clean! And super friendly to the point staff! Easy 5 stars <3

Probably I went at the wrong time of day but parking at popular times is very limited . Shocked by their pricing structure ! Sad that as this was "The Best Chippy" (both eat-in or takeaway) in Haywards Heath it has now become just a middle of the road fallback option when the other options are closed . The Plaice was cooked to order served pipping hot but the chips hadn't held their heat and were pretty average . Whilst I would go there again it wouldn't be my first choice . Friendly enough Staff but not the fastest .

What a fantastic team who pulled out all the stops to provide us with over 150 fish and chip portions for our charity quiz night. Despite the huge order all portions were large and tasty. 150Very happy and full quizzers. Highly recommend for perfect fish and chips and exceptional customer service.

A lovely busy local Fish and Chip shop, always clean, as in spotless! So always polite and most importantly lovely Fish and Chips at a reasonable price. Recommended.

We placed an order for our care home for lots of fush and chips. It was all cooked fresh and our residents thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff too. Thank you for a great lunch. 👍

The best fish and chips in Haywards Heath. If there's a long queue it doesn't usually mean a long wait since the staff here have a very efficient system. Payment by card or cash. Highly recommended.

Called in 12.45pm today (Tuesday). Both had cod and chips, mushy peas and baked beans & 2 teas. In my opinion these are the best fish & chips in Haywards Heath. Service is fast and efficient and very friendly. Empty plates say it all. Excellent 👍

Nice chips but for £7 I feel prices are a tadge to much. Larger portions or lower prices would nice.
