Went in at a non peak time, so had to wait a short time for my food to be cooked, but then freshly cooked is best, generous portions, lovely food good polite welcoming service, good value for money, and well worth the wait

To all my fellow US military friends and family - don’t judge this place because of its proximity to the base. It’s genuinely some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had.

We order from The Black Pearl regularly and have never had to fault the food or service we receive.Food is always fresh, portion sizes are more than enough, as we usually share a large cod between 2, usually delivered earlier than expected and those who deliver our order are very polite.

Perfect Kebab, really friendly staff, chips were amazing and quick service. Parking is a bit uncertain and never know if using the car park is ok, but there is normally somewhere near.

Great Cod. I really like the chicken done as well. Generous portions of chips. Everything was freshly cooked and hot AF.

I am not local but used for the first time yesterday. Food was piping hot and fresh. Just what I needed after a long day plane spotting 😁 Very yummy 😋

Owners some of the kindest people I've ever met, let me and my friend refuge there when we got stuck cycling in the snow. We bought some chips which were lovely and not too oily at all either. Great menu, good food and nice people, perfect local chip shop. 10/10.
