We had an 80th birthday celebration booked at the Bull Inn. Our party numbered around 16 people. Service was very good all the staff were very good. The bedrooms are all individual and quirky. We stayed in the gold room which had a large comfortable bed. Food was OK and we had a pleasant evening drinking until very late in the courtyard pods.

We ate in the pub and the food was great. We were greeted by Jake and Danny. Both really friendly and made us feel welcome. They appeared short of staff but did their best. Only a choice of 2 deserts available from the menu which was disappointing but overall an excellent experience.

Place was recommended to us and we had been very excited to go. However, while staff was kind the food was mediocre. We expected higher prices would mean higher quality, but no. My husband and I ordered the same stake cooked the same way (M/R) and both of ours came back just about well done. Overall a disappointment, but a good atmosphere nonetheless.

This is our first visit. I booked it because of the uniquely decorated bedrooms, they are brilliant. Along with the delicious looking food. The staff are absolutely fantastic, in particular Lauren in the bar the evening we stayed and Amy and Wendy the following morning at breakfast. I hope we can stay again.

My partner and I had lunch at the Inn for the first time today and it was absolutely amazing. The portions were big, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The girl at the bar was very kind and helpful, we are very pleased we chose to have lunch at the Bull Inn. We would definitely visit again.

Went for food, arrived about 815, was given menus and seated. Our orders taken and then the assistant manager came over and said that unfortunately the kitchen closed at 815. Two members of staff obviously didn't get the memo that the kitchen was closing at 815... The assistant manager blamed them for both being new! What a supportive manager! Food looked amazing but really?! Awful!

I went to one of the cocktail master classes - fantastic value for money, very light hearted and fun and my partner and me both had a really great time! 10/10, would definitely do it again and I would definitely recommend it. Thanks to all the staff for a brilliant night!

Somewhat surreal experience really, not bad, but not as I remembered it.Reception area was oh so dark and not welcoming.Dinner was very good (fillet tower), and an OK cheeseboard, certainly nothing special, 1 type of cracker which was stale!Felt we were paying restaurant prices to sit in a barWhat I would comment on was when I last went the restaurant was in use and the food presentation was outstanding, table cloths and napkins. No soap in the room (I did request, but it didn't happen).Bed and room, clean, tidy and comfortable, if a little tired in places.Tea bag station constantly empty, tea bags were available on request though.Staff were pleasant and helpful but I did not feel they were over familiar/knowledgeable within their roles. Breakfast - smoked salmon not available, shame, offered 'preservatives' - I elected to have 'jam', and not knowing what Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce is - but in fairness it was sourced. An altogether OK experience, but nothing like it used to be.Would I return? Possibly, but would try other avenues first.

Expect to be disappointed and you will not be disappointed. This used to be a quality establishment that asked a high price but delivered high quality foods, good service, and a great atmosphere. Sadly that has all changed.Booked well in advance to make sure we had a table for Sunday Roast. Apparently the management didn't bother doing anything in advance, however, as they were out of nearly everything on an already short menu. It's called "Sunday Roast", not "Sunday, we have chicken..." If I wanted dry chicken and sad veggies then I could have done at home and saved the 70 Quid.
