While the pub itself is nice, it was very quiet so it was surprising that there were already items off the menu. Also a mix up by serving ordinary garlic bread instead of gluten free, while this was settled amicably it could have had serious repercussions. Food itself was quite nice ( ham eggs and chips) but would advise double checking of special requirements

Don’t know why you would have a car meet and have the catering so poorly organised.Got told there’s no food when we was only 15 in the que.Someone need to sort management out, you could have made a killing today.

12 items not on the menu. Including pies! No real apology or offer of alternatives. Just said group didn't purchase enough!Won't be going back. Very poor

Not good......Father's day breakfast. Three of us had pancakes. Left pancakes as were very bitter and left awful after taste. Did advise waitress, whom apologised but that was all. Not sure if would go there for breakfast again

Been a few times, food is ok but have had to send back most times, Very slow and understaffed.Women at the bar said "they can push that bell all they want I'm not coming any faster" as a result food had dried out under the lamps!

Excellent breakfast venue in the sunshine. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Varied and reasonably priced menu. Food was excellent and the service par excellence. Coffee refills were taken advantage of. Highly recommended.

Lovely menu with a whole range of smaller meals that are a perfect size. The chef came out to talk to us and check everything was good. Only got 4 stars because the service was a bit slow today.

Popped in today to treat my daughter, she just wanted a pudding, unfortunately wasn't feeling well quickly after ordering and the ladies on the bar were so kind - thanks for your well wishes.

Stayed 1 night but woke up and storm Eunice was knocking on the door so we had to pack up quickly and go which was a shame as I was really looking forward to the breakfast.Rooms are well decorated and comfortable just needed a few tweaks if I was to be over critical pillow cases on 2 of the pillows were damaged, i would have given 5 stars but shower was faulty and I couldn't turn the temperature down , I did report it so should be fixed now (room 3) . Staff were lovely and I would choose this place over the larger chain hotels anyway.Very close to airport and 15 min taxi ride to westcliff (in rush hour)

Had a good Sunday lunch. Pork was a bit dry, but wasn't the last time we went so hopefully was a one off.Staff are nice, environment nice and lovely apple and rhubarb crumble for dessert.
